Savannah does not want to live in Philly either. Know this for a fact.

Philly is still a longshot, in my eyes .Cleveland or L.A., with Cavs finally winning the momentum battle for right now, seems like the move.

But their situation is too interesting to not at least have his agent meet.

I think we should all remember that the smartest quote before free agency begins was from LeBron, when he literally said "If you don't hear it coming from ME, don't believe it".

So far, about 14 hours into free agency, LeBron himself has only spoken to one team. The Cavs. At 12:01, immediately as free agency began.

Then a meeting was scheduled with the Sixers in Los Angeles, where LeBron himself is right now, and LeBron can't even carve out the time to attend the meeting. If the Sixers get a follow-up meeting with LeBron and Mav present, then sound the alarm bells. But a meeting with only Rich shouldn't indicate anything other than LeBron is giving them a chance to present a case, just like he did in 2010 and 2014 with multiple teams that never had a chance.

I believe the stuff about Savannah the most. I think the Lakers thing and LA in general is heavily influenced by his wife and kids. I think if it was from a pure basketball perspective that Lebron would seriously consider joining the Sixers.

I also think the Lakers losing out on PG was pretty bad for them.

But, there is a shot Lebron still heads to LA in the end.

Also with the Lakers stuff, Lebron has interest at his age in perhaps branching out more from just basketball? It's an odd situation though with LA to me. If he does indeed choose LA I think at least more then half the decision is off the court related.

Hayward will turn 30 in March 2020. So in July 2020, he will have completed 10 seasons and probably will be eligible for a deal starting between $35-40 million. Maybe more if online gambling increases the cap much more than anticipated over the next two years.

By then Kyrie would be earning over $35 million if he's still on the team. Jaylen Brown would be an RFA that summer as well.

Do you give him a new deal, hope that he opts out of that $34.2 million salary and signs with someone else or he opts in for one last year?

I guess it would depend on whether this roster has won any titles by that time or how close they've been, whether Hayward has had big playoffs runs for the Celtics in the next two seasons.

But if Brown and Tatum are only improving in the next two seasons and playing bigger roles and minutes in the playoffs, it may be tough to pay Hayward that kind of money.

I really try not to be paranoid or assume bad faith. I know fans of other teams can have opinions that differ from ours without being trolls. And I don't want to be that guy who's jeering out every rival fan just because of their rooting interest and not the content of their posts.

But it gets really hard to give folks the benefit of the doubt when every single Raptors and Sixers and Warriors fan that has come in here in the last 48 hours is trying to convince us why we should give away our assets, or won't be able to retain them, or won't be able to get who we want, or will never be able to contend with them, etc. etc. etc.

It's remarkable how all these other fanbases know what's best for us, if only we'd listen.
