I’m down with that. The problem is, can they make that work? 4 guys that needed the ball with not much playmaking. Iso ball offense? Would have preferred a guard like Jrue over kemba.

TBH, I just posted the poster that was available.
But, I would put Oladipo on the 2nd Unit, with (Starters) Brown at SG, and Tatum at SF.

I might also Start Turner at the PF. Either way, we'd need a 5th Starter.

If we ever get Dipo, i doubt he’d agree to come off the bench. That would just create team chemistry issues. Can Dipo play the point? If he can, then lets just move kemba.

Yeah. It's looking like bringing in Oladipo is Not the best move. As we have enough at his position (PG/SG).
And we'd be giving ourselves a bad name, if we traded Kemba so early.

Thing is too, that Oladipo has some injury issues himself.
Except for the 4" addition in height, I don't see him as an upgrade to Kemba.

I'm starting to think that the following, is a better Trade option. Helps the Bench out, too..:

I wouldn’t be giving the number 14 pick away.

I'd do it, if we could get rid of Poirier, Ojeleye & Green, in the Trade.

Lamb could be a good addition off the bench. instant scoring option. Plus we’ll have a legit rim protector with a jumpshot in Myles.

Proposed Rotation, 2020-21:
Kemba - Brown - Tatum - G.Williams - Turner
Smart - Langford - Lamb - McDermott - R.Williams/Theis
Waters - Wanamaker/Edwards - (Rookie)

Maine Red Claws = (Rookie), Fall

Watching the Lakers kill the heat, I think we need to rethink our big men. Theis has done very well, Kanter well in situations and Williams looks like he could be really good. That said, we probably need someone else too.

I can’t believe people here would get rid of kemba- great locker room guy, leader, still plays at an all star level, empowers and defers to brown and Tatum and WANTS to be a celtic for Oladipo (hurt, rental, way bigger ego, contract year) so easily.

Yep. Oladipo wants to be a first option so he can get paid. Have zero interest in him. He’s Cavs IT. Not worth it.

IT became bad because he got hurt, Oladipo was always bad except one fluke year. In the half season before he got hurt, he was scoring at .519 TS% which is perfectly in line with his career numbers and which would've made him the 13th most efficient scorer on the Celtics team this season, right after Poirier.

I would trade Poirier, Semi, and the 30th pick for comfortable, playable 4-inch lifts for Kemba's shoes.

I have noticed that the more Hayward trades are listed on the trades and transactions page, the less Haywards value is. He is going to pick up his option, and I REALLY don't see him traded this season. However, if he doesn't give a hometown discount , say 22 -24 mill a season for 2 years, next off season, I can see the team letting him walk or trying for a sign and trade.

Front offices are now on the trades & transactions page ?
I wouldn’t put much stock into what guys are saying on their. Teams know how valuable healthy Hayward is when he’s healthy. You put him in a more offensively prominent role & he’s a 20/7/5 guy with good defence.
He’s never really been a good fit here & teams know that.
