If Randle's injury lingers, Miami really could make the ECF.

And the team Kevin Love starts for, despite being more injured and facing a higher seed, is deeper in the playoffs than the one on which he couldn't get playing time.

Heat are as good as anyone in the East.

Jimmy is Jimmy, Bam is one of the league's better true big men, those guys are surrounded by gritty role players, shooters like Strus/Robinson/Love, seasoned vets in Lowry/Love, and then there's Herro who returns at some point.

They lack offensive firepower unless Herro is healthy and/or Jimmy is in a zone (like he has been), but they were amongst the top of the league in team defense this season and they worry me as much as any team in the league.

Heat are not as good as the Celtics, neither as good as the Bucks
Weird circumstances, massive choke job, lucky shots that went in, resulted in the Heat winning the series
They play great defense, have an amazing head coach, gritty and respect every possession.. but they luck talent and depth

Oh, and Tyler Hero is out for at least 6 more weeks
He is probably done for these playoffs

Man, that's how you close a series. Butler is really arguably a top 3 player during the playoffs.

We should hire Nurse before Milwaukee does. They'll be much more dangerous with a new coach.

No bloodbath here.

Celts win Game 6 and Tatum bounces back with a big game.

The problem is the Celts and Tatum will be choking once again in the next round.

The East is wide open for the Celtics if they can get their act together. TBD

Miami could go to the Finals. They play hard for 48 minutes. Something I haven’t seen from the Celtics in a very long time

Funny what playing hard for 48 minutes gets you in the NBA. Also helps having Butler

That Miami and New York series will be a bloodbath.

Abit of perspective for all of our meltdowns in the last few days. We could be out of round 1 already

The Heat aren't as good but Bam makes them very scary. The bench makes them scary. Its not so much Butler vs the Celtics that worries me and the reason I've said for months that the Heat are the main obstacle other then the Celtics themselves to winning a title. This team can legitimately bring a random player in like Robinson or Straus or whoever and they're a legitimate threat to score 20. Bam abuses our bigs, always. Then there's the coach. Spo is lightyears better than Mazzula. Everywhere from game management to timeouts.

The Knicks need to win.

I want the Heat in the ECF.

Beating Pat Riley in the playoffs feels so good!

Return to Boston Celtics
