oy vey, it just doesn't feel like our year, does it?

silver lining is maybe we can get all our flus/nagging injuries/covid out of the way before the playoffs start. as long we we're healthy for the playoffs we can do some damage.

i worry about fournier's long term effects from covid.

Worth keeping in mind when we get on Brad for being conservative with minutes, or the training staff for being extra cautious with guys.

Fournier is maybe back by end of the week? Unless Covid hit him hard.

5 of our top 6 guys are on the injury report: 2 out, 2 questionable, 1 probable.

We'll see. Looking at Time Lord's stats after he came back from COVID, it definitely took him a couple weeks after he returned before his numbers picked back up. Obviously Tatum felt affects long after his return too.

Thompson however, was really good right from his first game back and has seemingly been better since he came back from COVID..which is surprising since he missed more time than Tatum or Time Lord.

Maybe Tatum and Time Lord came back too soon.. And the extra rest helped TT?
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Looking like he's probably back on Thursday. He returned to the Celtics practice facility this past Friday..

There's a decent chance we get everyone back for the Nets game. But I won't rule out a couple of our main guys being unexpectedly transported to another dimension / time period just before tipoff.

That seems like being overly cautious with Fournier..

If we see a tweet on Monday saying "he'll be cleared for his final testing in the next couple days", wouldn't that mean his final testing would be either Tuesday or Wednesday and then he could play on Thursday?

Or is this saying this final testing will clear him to simply be able to participate in full contact practice with the team again, meaning he won't be able to do that until Wednesday at the earliest but possibly not until the next practice which is Saturday and then return to game action at earliest on sunday? Ugh..

They need to see how his body reacts to a workout. They did the same with Romeo and he missed 2 games because of it.

So he posted a video of himself arriving at the practice facility last Friday but he still hasn't had a workout yet?

He has to clear a cardiac test before he can workout.

Seriously, what the hell ?! This is getting ridiculous.

Either:
a) Get new players who are more durable
b) Fire the training/medical staff and replace them with more competent people
c) Just chalk it up as bad luck

I'm honestly not sure which of those 3 options we should do, probably a combination.....
