Good question. Better scoring, efficiency. Just better overall. Playoff experience. Off the bench obviously.

They should just trade every pick that is not in top10. They are the worst franchise when it comes to those picks, and it's been like that for almost 10 years. Nothing changed in this timeframe so there is no reason to believe that things will get better.
Better to trade them than to waste them like that. Doumbouya is so much better than Langford

Celtics can’t trade for Baynes this year. Only way he can be back is if he is traded then bought out

Rose had a great night but Celtics shouldn’t trade for him. Celtics do need someone though

Why? He's averaging 18 ppg, 6 apg on 48% FG,88% FT off the bench in 26 mpg. It wouldn't take much to get him i would imagine.

We're not close enough to be making any win-now moves. We need to get another young guy.

I wonder what it would take to get Aaron Gordon, or if that would even be a good idea.

I don’t care what bench rotation guy or what young draft picks we have trade them for Rose & Bertans.
Maybe get Bogut too.

I really think Gordon would thrive here. He is also big/athletic enough to slow the likes of Giannis like any other player currently on the roster. The balance of the team would be much better with him in my opinion as he adds size and athleticism. Not sure what it would take to get him though.

We need production from the bench. I'm on board with a DRose trade if he's available.

IMO, I think Danny will let the roster ride as is, until the season is over. See exactly where the picks fall, see what Gordon and Kanter do about their options, and then make some moves. I would love for some in season changes, because the needs are plain to see, but I really don't see it happening now. I do see this happening around the draft.
1) I expect Gordon to pick up his option, or sign a longer, shorter money deal, maybe 4/100.
2) I expect Kanter to opt out, and sign a longer more money deal, maybe 3/24 or 27.
3) I expect Tatum to sign for the max we can offer.
4) Memphis pick is going to convey this draft.
5) I don't expect Wannamaker back next season, paving the way for Waters to move to the roster on a contract similar to what Edwards signed.

I am pretty sure this all means that Edwards, Poirier, Semi, Green, Fall, 3 first round picks and 1 second round pick are all in play for trade and /or for the last 4 spots plus the 2 two-ways next year. That's 7 - 7.5 mil to work with. (personally I would like to see Green and Fall back, but Edwards, Poirier and Semi need to go)

It's either Hayward or Smart+filler...only those 2 options can give us a great starting C in a trade...now at trade deadline or in summer.

I still think due to his contract and age...Hayward should be traded for C.

Hayward for M.Turner+filler

Maybe Indy would bite if we included Romeo OR Mem pick.

I know it's a lot, but...

Add pick as necessary

Rules prohibit us from re-acquiring Baynes via trade for one year after the date we dealt him.

We should just get rid of Hayward. It's like we are living on a false hope that he will be what he once was. That train has left. His passiveness is hurting the team when he is expected to be an alpha. Now he is just more of a facilitator than a second scoring option.

Smart for all his grit, defense and leadership gets overshadowed by his bricks. We deserve better. Trade him. We need scorers...badly.
