I bet you could get Montrezl Harrell for the vet minimum. The trick would be to keep him out of jail until the playoffs are over. A decent criminal lawyer ought to be able to get a continuance or two or maybe even get parole + community service.

He loved it here in boston. the guys loved him. Good defender, good shooter. Can create a little bit off the dribble, most notably with that quick burst driving left and then laying it in off wrong foot move.

Then for that 3rd string big man spot grab 1 of these guys with a minimum contract:

Thomas Bryant
Duop Reath
Jo Lual-Acuil
Chinanu Okuaku
Edy Tavares

Don’t expect them to use the TPE, it’s unlikely. Multiple of the best Celtics reporters have said as much.

Any chance Vanderbilt could become a decent 3-point shooter?

Lack of big man depth and lack of rebounding are the 2 areas of need now, but can't see him and Rob sharing the floor.

I want him back with the TPE.

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Getting JRich back would turn the trade into what, Langford, Blake Wesley (2022 1st) and a pick swap for White?

Can't see Boston having an $180 million payroll. As dangercart pointed out, ownership's already past their highest spend ever.

And? You realize the salary cap keeps going up and up and up. Player's salaries keep going up and up and up. The bolded part is to be expected - especially if you're a team trying to win a title.

We just lost in the finals because the warriors had the highest payroll in the league and we had the 19th highest.

The owners have the money:

I'd still take LMA if it's just a regular season gig. But good luck playing him alongside Gallo.

we'll see. i didn't see any of them reporting anything about the Brogdon trade until after it happened..

lots of Brad's moves have come out of left field.

Teams typically have a higher spend threshold the closer they are to being a championship team. This is the closest we've been to a championship team since 2010.
