Bucks with a nice 16 point lead over the Mavs at the half.

And the Pelicans holding onto a lead over Indy as well despite Davis tweaking his back diving into the stands

Skiles simply hasn't played him much at all. I don't think that puts him in bust territory.

I haven't seen much of Orlando this year. Tuned in recently and saw he had 0 points only like 10 mpg. I assume he was not doing too well since I haven't heard much of him so far this year. Didn't know he was being "Stevens'd"...lol

Just noticed that the Lakers are creeping up on the Nets and the rest of the bottomfeeders. This is particularly noteworthy because they only have top 3 protection on that pick and could easily be much improved next year. They have more incentive to tank than anyone. Huge difference between getting a top 3 pick this year and losing a mid-1st next year vs losing a top 5 pick this year and getting a mid-first next year.

Odds are as follows:
1st worst has a 64.3% chance of remaining top 3.
2nd worst has a 55.8% chance of remaining top 3.
3rd worst has a 46.9% chance of remaining top 3.
4th worst has a 37.8% chance of remaining top 3.
5th worst has a 29.2% chance of remaining top 3.

Also noteworthy here is that if the Nets were to finish 2nd worst as opposed to 3rd worst, their lottery odds would increase accordingly.

Imagine us taking their spot in the top 3 and LA then having to give a 4th overall pick away to Phoenix.

There is no way in hell LA lets this happen, but please... let this happen.

Also factor in the Ish Smith variable to this equation. Nets aren't dead in the water for the worst overall record yet.

Nets lose again. Only must 77 points vs. Orlando after scoring 74 the last game. Their bench is D-League caliber right now.

A key point people missed on the Jack injury is that regardless of how it effects them on the court it take away one of the few moveable pieces on their roster. The Nets have literally like 5 tradable assets in their entire franchise Lopez, Young, Bogdon, Larkin, and Jack was the other one. With Jack gone it's going to be tougher for Brooklyn to make trades of any kind.

I still think they are going to be even worse next year. No free agent is going to sign there and even with RHJ coming back they will more than likely be passed by philly next year.

Nets got Detroit on the road, a 3 game home stand against San Antonio, NY and Portland and a road game at Atlanta. Maybe, with luck they beat one of NY or Portland..but more than likely an 0-5 record coming up. 1-4 tops..

what is the best case scenario for the Nets. Could they catch fire and go 26-20 the rest of the season. I don't think so but lest consider that the best they could do. would finish 36-46 somewhere in the 10th or 11th pick Range. I think its almost time to start some kind of countdown. Every Loss counts. right now we are looking at a Jacob Poeltl, Ivan Rabb, Jamal Murray territory as a worst case for the Cs. Just going to get better with every loss :)

Philly owns that pick, Phoenix traded it to them in the great PG disaster of 2015.

I won't put a number on it..that's major jynx territory. But if they don't adjust the PG position, I don't see how they can win too many games. Larkin and Sloan is the worst pg combo in the NBA..I can't think of another one that bad.
