McHale and D. Scott not giving much love to the Celtics as expectations go for this year. Which is understandable because like they said, there are Moreno questions than answers for them this year.

For me and I’m sure for other Celtic fans, this year’s success is going to depend mostly of how much Tatum, Hayward and Brown improve over last year. Also can Kantar play respectable defense in our system.

I feel we still see noticeable improvements from 2 of the 3 in Tatum, Hayward and Brown.

My sleepers going into the season are Grant Williams, Kantar and if given an opportunity, Carsen Edwards.

Kemba is a proven all star, so we know what we are getting from him.

Magic are gonna be very interesting this year. Very odd blend of talent, but they can build a pretty crazy wall of length, speed and skill.

They would make a good trade partner with us. Isaac/Gordon are both best as 4s and they just added Aminu to the mix. A 3 for 4 trade could work for both teams.

This is so true. Now I know why Celts pursued him for so long.

He probably focused on his offense only.

NBA really about it eat itself with this Daryl Morey/China thing. The NBA has really tried to push the progressive point of view the last few seasons, let’s see if they back it up or just ignore the massive list of Chinese human rights violations.

Weird to see a day In America where people are called out for tweeting support for democracy.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

South Park absolutely nailed this topic last week, and the episode looks even more timely/appropriate now. It's bizarre that in the 2019 era where seemingly every potential human rights issue is magnified, few seem to care how many companies/organizations are catering to China/silencing critics to maintain $$$.

I usually clown him for his haircut, but Chris Mannix had a really good pod up the other day, where he had a live panel of Bob Ryan, Himmelsbach and Scal. Later on, in the show, Mike Gorman came on. They talked about last season....and whoa, all that talk of that weirdo might be even worse than we thought. I haven't finished it, but here are some interesting points:

-Bob Ryan thinks that dude will wind up on another 3-4 teams before it's all said and done
-Himmelsbach said that many of the media, as well as members from within the Celtics were very skeptical about that dude's explanation of why last year went bad
-Mike Gorman said that he was told by the Celtics to stop saying what he had initially said last year before the start of the season - he didn't think it was going to work out because trying to incorporate that weirdo and Hayward as the 1st and 2nd options would be impossible. (I'm kind of disappointed that they would censor Mike like that)
-Mike Gorman said in the 2 years that the weirdo was here, they might have exchanged about 10 words. TOTAL. Dude would look at him in the elevator, then just turn back around.
-Gorman also said there was no difference between that weirdo during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 season.

When Mike Gorman is throwing shade at you, that means that there is something wrong with you. Lol

Right??? What kind of psychopath doesn't even say "Hi" and create small-talk in an elevator with a colleague?

"Hey Mike, any plans tonight? You goin for dinner? Me? Oh, I'm just going to my room to watch conspiracy videos on youtube. Have a good night! See you tomorrow!!"

It would actually take more effort to ignore the person, IMO.

Zero tolerance for Cuban communist government because they screwed over the rich. Zero empathy for democracy in China because its bad for business. It’s never about principles. It’s always about the benjamins.
