So with Kornet and Queta back C's now have 13 roaster spots accounting Scheierman.
Tillman and/or Brisset I supposed could both be back, which would fill out their roster. If they brought back 1 of those guys they could fill the 15th spot either win a vet minimum OR even give Anton Watson a rookie minimum. Giving Anton a deal starting at the rookie min would actually save the C's some money, about 5 million in salary+tax vs a vet minimum guy. Similar to what GSW did with Trayce Jackson-Davis last year. Or he could just get a 2-way. Drew Peterson and JD Davidson might both be back on two ways as well, I think JD has 1 more year of eligibility left.
Beyond that it will be extension watch time. Tatum will be able to decline his player option and sign a 5/314 million dollar deal, he'll likely get a player option on that last year. White could sign up to a 4/126 deal which would start at 28.1 million, he'd probably also ask for a player option on the final year of his deal if he were to accept it. Sam Hauser is eligible for an estimated 4/78 extension of his now 1 year deal. if he gets to free agency he'd be unrestricted.
One final note: With the cap coming in at 140,588,000 for next year Jaylen's extension is now locked in at about 285.4 million over 5 years.
