I've loved a couple of things.

No corner 3s and no lobs given up on defense.

That is two thirds of the Mavs offense when you have the ability to play Irving and Doncic straight up with multiple defenders.

I just wanted Kristaps to be effective and not get hurt again. He proceeded to be the best player on the court instead.
