I've promised myself to never make any prediction regarding the Spurs. It seems you'll look dumb regardless.

also think that the Spurs aren't THIS good.

Danny just sent a text message to Tom Brady, telling him to keep his schedule free on July 1st, 2017.......just in case.

Also their depth is going to be a real issue IMO.

The law of diminishing returns states that in all productive processes, adding more of one factor of production, while holding all others constant will at some point yield lower incremental per-unit returns. ~ Wikipedia lol

The W's were already the top offense last year and weakened other areas of the team to further improve their offense. Very Indianapolis Colts like move. Let's hope it blows up in their face

Spurs are the best run organization in sports from top to bottom. They ARE this good. The Warriors will be fine. Several times in that game they had big runs and were well on their way to pulling within low single digits and each of those times a huge KD miss killed the run and set up a Spurs run. KD was pressing. Klay wasn't aggressive enough. This loss was mostly about interior D and KD choking. There's no shame losing to the Spurs. They are as talented as any team in the NBA with the best coach. I had them slightly behind CLE and GSW.

The real take away from this game for me, is that Kawhi Leonard is now the best player in the league for the first time since Lebron's second season. His game has been taken to another level. He's my favorite non Celtic. Is there anyone besides maybe KAT that you'd start your franchise with if you began today? He was already a top 10 player but I really do think he's the best now. Not by a lot, Lebron is still right there, but the torch has been passed.

I can't wait for tonight's game!!

Draymond and Kerr already screaming at each other and it's only game 1. I'm going to love to see them implode this season, lose in the playoffs, and make every NBA person in existence who picked them to be in the Finals to look like fools.

Spoiler:
Probably won't happen, but I'm rooting for it!!

Would not shock me at all. There's probably even more pressure on the Warriors to win it all this year than there was last year after breaking the Bulls' record.

Well I was surprised the warriors lost by 30 points but it was just one game. Warriors won't likely shoot 7-for-33 from downtown again. I do agree their depth could be an issue. Mcgee, Looney and West are not great players. Livingston and Iggy are good but Iggy has had injury issues in the past. Also with KD there it's simple math that someone on the team has to give up shots. Maybe it will change every game but my guess is Green and Thompson will get less shots.

Still, their starters are so good that I don't see any team stopping them this year.

If the wheels are falling off Iggy, that's a big blow for them, but let's be real - they can handle a big blow and still win 70 games.

I agree. Curry, Thompson, KD or Green could go down and they'd still be good enough to win a title. It was nice seeing them get beat so soundly but the reality is it could take them a few games to figure everything out.

Those guys could score 100 by the end of 3 quarters regularly, sit their whole starting squad and ride out the win during the 4th quarter with a 15pt 4th from their scrubs and still win most games by +10. They'll average 28-30 per quarter easy this year with that starting crew. This was a little hick-up.

Durant was a terrific interior defender in the play offs last year, if he really wants that ring he has to realize Golden State needs that Durant as well. People here are quite quick with their conclusions, also think that the Spurs aren't THIS good.

Pau Gasol was -13 in a 29 point win, was curious if he tried harder on the defensive end under Pop, guess we know the answer
.

I'm assuming this was sarcasm considering your previous point about rushing to conclusions correct?
