Here's one, Cuban doesn't want to tank and the nets are looking to sell, Mavs make a move for Brook Lopez shipping back Bogut, a protected first and filler to try to win!

Teams are waiting for the new CBA to be announced then the rumors will swirl.

Lopez would be a better fit for the Pelicans, they need another scorer,
they have to improve the cast around Davis, and they can offer an enticing Lottery pick
to the Nets, just give it something like Top 4 or 5 protection.

Umm, trading Hayward is not blowing it up. It's called getting assets for a player who is going to leave before you get nothing for his value.

Vucevic is not happy to come off the bench with Orlando.

He is a rebounding machine, can shoots but not a great defender.

Horford is a good defender tho. Could he make up for Vucevic's limitations

"Rebounding Machine" --- sounds like manna from heaven to me! Vucevic is averaging 11.6 rebounds per game & 15.1 per 36 minutes. Yes, I agree, let Horfie cover for him on D. We need those boards!!!

That Bulpett snippet makes me think that the Nets pick and a couple of our players will be traded in a few weeks time.

Just a hunch i have no sources by any means but im guessing one of Cousins,Whiteside,Vucevic, or one of the Philly bigs is a Celtic in a few weeks time.

Vucevic will become a better defender in Brad's system. And yeah, Horford will cover for most of his defensive flaws.. It will make our frontcourt thrive offensively finally with a big like Vuc.

Looks great. Until the people who says "He doesn't move the needle" against the cavs come, then we'd have another debate.

Trade Smart for Noel. Pass on Cousins and keep Brown and the BKN 2017 pick. The 2017 draft looks loaded with guards, so they can replace Smart...

Unless something unforeseen happens not sure there's anything the C's can do to beat the Cavs this season.
It will take incremental improvement. Adding a rebounder is a step in the right direction to possibly beating them next season in the playoffs.

From all indications speaking to team sources around the league, Danny Ainge is still after the major trades the C’s president of basketball operations knows are needed. And no doubt he’s loving each story calling the 2017 draft one of the deepest and most talent-laden in many years, understanding that such talk could raise the value of the Nets’ pick that can be theirs.

But while you know changes have to be coming, it might be helpful to begin preparing yourself to part with one or more players to whom you’re growing attached these days.

The roster as currently constituted doesn’t blend as well as the Celts would probably like, but that’s mainly a product of generally drafting the best player available without regard to role. The C’s have been in no position to do otherwise as they rebuild and gather assets they can either keep or develop for value in the marketplace.

Considering Bulpett usually just spends his time shooting down other rumors, this is a little more interesting than it's generic wording sounds

*** I realize this is a crazy scenario and wouldn't happen but if I'm trying to pry David out of NO this is what I do

AB, Crowder, Horford, Brooklyn picks for Anthony Davis

Why for Pels: They don't want to tank after trading Davis. This trade improves them this year and gives them guys who are also under contract for the next few seasons. The control of the players is a huge selling point as it lets the Pels develop respect in the league be able to keep their players. They also get great draft picks to supplement their core.

For Boston: Yes it is a **** ton to give up but you get a yearly MVP candidate under contract long term. You are banking on Davis and IT being able to recruit players in FA but you could be able to sign Hayward and Griffin in FA 17 or Cousins, George, or Westbrook in FA 18. Then go over the cap to resign IT, Smart, Brown and/or Rozier.

Only guy that could get us past the Cavs is Davis. Maybe Cousins. Gortat, Noel, Vucevic, or Chandler would be big helps, but it would take a huge upset for us to get past them with only adding those type of players.

It also depends on who we still have left after any trade. Cavs have become a lethal 3 point shooting team, and we need wing defenders who can get out and guard the perimeter. Losing Bradley, Smart, or Crowder in a trade hurts us in that area.

I think it's bradley. We all know his stock is currently the highest and will command a lot to pay for after 2018. Gonna be a fun month this december
