Its going to be up to Brad. Can Brad integrate a new recruit to his Princeton style offense in time for the tournament? If they get an invite that is. This squad has NIT written all over it.

BOS: Lonzo Ball, Wood, Ross, Iguodala
MIA: Oladipo, TT
ORL: Walker, Bledsoe
NOP: Wall, Nunn, BOS 2023 FRP
HOU: Fultz, Reddick, Olynyk, Fournier, BOS 2025 FRP

Boston gets a more suitable PG in style and age for Tatum/Brown, a promising young PF and bench vets with scoring.
Miami gets an SG in prime age and a good defensive backup centre.
Orlando gets a more experienced and better PG combo without losing their frontcourt.
New Orleans gets PGs of better fit (debatable) and out of having to pay Ball, Bledsoe and Reddick and a FRP.
Houston get Fultz who is young and started to show something on a decent long term contract, a bunch of expiring salaries and a FRP.

Trade/cut Edwards/Green/Teague
Get cheap backup centre banger type like Baynes

Ball/Brown/Tatum/Wood/R.Williams
Smart/Ross/Iguodala/Ojeleye/Theis
PP/Langford/Nesmith/G.Williams/Baynes

Waters/Fall

I added Baynes at the end just to get your attention. :D

I sometimes think reload and MrGreenRunsDeep are the same poster who just can't decide their true feelings about Aaron.

I don't disagree with you, but you never know with these small market teams.

They're so unpredictable.

They’re predictable enough to know that they would never trade Lonzo for Kemba.

Kemba makes ZERO sense for them, less than zero perhaps.

If they wanted Kemba, they would have taken him when we called for Jrue Holiday.

Any chance we can get Kyle Anderson from Memphis? Would they take Tristan Thompson?

Lol right now we're a CIT team.

We're playing like my alma mater, Fordham, which hasn't been to the tourney since Bill Clinton was barely starting his presidency

Yeah, I see Orlando and Dallas as teams most likely to bite on Kemba, so construct a three team Lonzo trade from there.. I don’t think we can get him.

Fun Fact: The Celtics are 3-11 when Tatum and Brown both have 20 field goal attempts in a game. We have lost 8 straight such games.

They seem pretty happy with Tillman I think. Then once JJJ returns, they will have Jonas, JJJ, and Clarke. So I have a hard time seeing them parting ways with a starter to get a big that would be 4th at best in their rotation.

My bad. It's 3-10. The other loss came when it was Kemba and Tatum who both had 20+ FGAs.

So either get the team more players who can get that round thing through the hoop thing so the Jays don't feel the need to do it all themselves or the Jays have to trust their teammates more.

'Cos them chucking away hasn't been a winning formula.

I just don't get why they are keeping Theis. Hes in his final year of eligibility with the Celtics. He's going to leave and join an actual NBA team with NBA coaching. Get something for him before he "graduates". I'm so tired of this college program junk.

I've seen it many times.

One example is Tatum passing to a wide open Smart, with 1:20 left in the 4th against the Jazz, and Smart misses.
What's worse is Donovan Mitchell made a 3-pointer after they got the rebound on that Smart miss and the Jazz go up by 6 points with 1:04 left in the 4th.

Another example is Theis being left wide open by opposing teams in crunch time.
Theis makes 3-pointers when it's early in the game.
But Theis misses when it matters the most.

Maybe that's why Tatum and Brown prefer to shoot it themselves.

Ainge needs to surround the Jays with veteran guys that play the right way and can make open shots.

Let's speak it into existence, even if it doesn't make sense for NO.

Kemba for Lonzo swap!

3 team deal imo.

kemba to orlando
fournier, theis and romeo to nop
ball, reddick and aminu to boston?

In my opinion this would be much more appealing for the Pels, two pieces that fit what they need.

The only negative I have with this is, if theyre looking to move Ball because they dont want to pay him in the summer. Both Fournier and Theis contracts are up this summer and both are unrestricted. So they would run into the same issue of having to pay money to keep them.

Perhaps a pick sates that worry, although i think that fournier and/or theis could be resigned with a reasonable offer of a comtract.

Fournier for sure.

Fournier would be more expensive to keep than Theis in my opinion. Its just both of them being unrestricted makes it pretty iffy in my book. Value wise I like it. I just feel like its a considerable risk to dump Lonzo for that return, considering Lonzo is a positive asset that they have control over his contract this summer. It would be a real tough pill to swallow if both Fournier and Theis (mainly Fournier) walk this summer.

Kemba, Theis, AND Langford for Ball/Reddick/Aminu? Overvalues Ball, undervalues Kemba and Theis, Reddick is no use to us

Kemba has no value to the Pels, so he cant be undervalued in this scenario. If the Pels wanted Kemba, they couldve had him this summer for Jrue, but they didnt.

The Pels have had the #1 offense in the league since the end of January, that is when they went to more of a point forward offense led by Zion and Ingram. So if they didnt want Kemba this summer before they switched to the Zion/Ingram led offense. They definitely dont want him now.

Again to use Kemba to get Lonzo, a third team is going to be needed.

If you can get lonzo now and then move off kemba in the offseason and then sign lonzo as your starter for much less than kemba’s salary thats a win. Also a philosophical shift from our undersized guards to a big guard in lonzo.

Again lonzo’s probably getting somewhere between 18-22 imo I’d guess but that’s just me spit ballin. You’d have the chance to match any salary but if he truly wants New York or elsewhere klutch and lavar will make it unbearable for us. I don’t think pels would move lonzo after his play lately but if you’re griffin u have to wonder if lonzo is gonna force his way out

Maybe they already got that wink2x magical #'s to resign, but they can't do it yet because the FO want's to use the TPE.

Maybe. Maybe I don't know nothing lol.

And I will argue that I've seen the opposite more. We've had way better games when the ball moves and everyone gets to touch the ball.

That when Tatum, Brown, and Kemba find their teammates in the right spots, they've made open shots.

Whether it's Theis on rolls in the midrange, Timelord on lobs, Semi/Grant in the corner, or Smart on his cuts to the basket.

Timelord, Theis, Javonte, Pritchard, and Semi all have above average true shooting %. Tatum is below average. Kemba is way below league average. They've been shooting it fine.

Brown and Tatum trying to score by themselves in the half court is super predictable offense. And doesn't shift the defense or make the opposing defense work hard.
