You caught me at the right time, so I messed around with it. Top 20 in order of descending PTPM Reg, when filtered by 800 minutes or more:

Kevin Durant
Kawhi Leonard
Stephen Curry
Chris Paul
Draymond Green
LeBron James
Jimmy Butler
Anthony Davis
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Isaiah Thomas
Andre Iguodala
John Wall
Mike Conley
Kyle Lowry
Gordon Hayward
Kemba Walker
Blake Griffin
James Harden
Klay Thompson
Manu Ginobili

Pretty decent list that IT & Gordon are on. Andre & Kemba are the only mild surprises.

It loves Spurs or ex-Spurs with that filter:

Kawhi at 2,
Manu at 20,
Kyle Anderson at 26,
David West 29,
George Hill 30,
Pau Gasol 33,
Patty Mills 36,
David Lee 38,
Dedmon 45,
LMA 46

It's almost like they're a good team or something.

Don't see how we could be, other teams are likely to be for taking on big contracts (which we can't fit) in exchange for picks.

Wait for people to say Ainge blew it when this trade goes through and now the consensus is Melo is a superstar and Ainge was hoarding assets.

What about the Cs trading Marcus Morris and the Cs own 2018 no. 1 pick to the Knicks for Kyle O'Quinn?

KOQ only has a year left on his deal and will be expensive thereafter, but for the next year he solves all remaining concerns about rebounding and rim protection.

Not sure what the perception is of KOQ's trade value. The draft choices might have to be tweaked to get the deal done.

When the trade goes down I'll be the first to post the obligatory "Ainge blew it once again" post

I hope Anthony Davis is the player Danny is secretly zeroed in on. I can imagine a scenario that the Boogie+AD experiment doesn't work and the ensuing dumpster fire will cause NOLA to at least listen to offers for AD because right now it's not looking like he'll resign in two years and his stock will never be higher.

I wouldn't mind giving up both 2018 1sts, Horford, and 2 of Brown, Crowder, Smart.

IT
3&D SG
Hayward
Tatum
AD

Is maybe the perfect Brad Stevens squad.

I know its AD but brown, 2 likely top 5 picks, horford, crowder just doesnt make sense. Would be by far the biggest package ever.

Look - I like OQuinn but what you are really saying is O'Quinn is more valuable than Avery Bradley. Both are on cheap contracts and both will get paid. Considering what PG went for and what the market is bearing including the Butler and Cousins trades, this would be a homerun for the Knicks - getting a first round pick for a rental

Can we petition him to take 00 so we can have 007?

I think O'Quinn is exactly what this team needs to be pretty complete going into the season, and fits our needs better than Morris. That's all. That is the relevant comparison now because Bradley is gone.

A bigs rotation of Horford, O'Quinn and Baynes with Crowder playing a good chunk of small ball 4 would be outstanding. Good depth and Brad would have a lot of options.

I really have no problem greasing the wheels with a low no. 1 pick in a crappy draft if that is what it takes to swing a deal. We might not have any openings on our roster anyway.

But if we don't need to use a number 1 pick, obviously don't. You may well be right, and I hope you are. When I propose deals on forums I usually tend toward overpaying, since there is a tendency to grotesquely underpay in most proposals to suit the home team.

If KOQ plays well and has a role, I would consider extending him in 2018. But odds are it would be a rental, and he would be keeping the seat warm for Zizic, Yabusele, maybe even Theis, and the player we get with Brooklyn's 2018 no. 1 pick.

And becasue there will not be many teams below the cap next summer, even if we do not re-sign O'Quinn, a sign-and-trade is always a possibility.
