Gronk was like the NFl’s version of Shaq. Such an incredible entertaining player on and off the field. One thing everyone loves about Gronk is he can party hard most of the summer but dude was super professional from start to end each season and gave everything he had out there. Glad the goat te got to end his career making the biggest catch of the super bowl this season that set up the touchdown. A big loss not just for the patriots but for the nfl. Probably not going to see anyone like him again for a long time.

Still one of the most hilarious interviews I’ve ever seen

Kinda expected (and almost hoped for his own health) that he would retire. It's going to suck though, huge loss. Going to miss him.

Still got Tom Brady though.

Yeah, this is a tough blow.
Gronk is still young. Turning 30 in a couple of months.

But, best to go out on your own terms.
He's got 3 rings.

The Mark Bavarro example always made me think Gronk wouldn't last long. It's impressive he made it as long as he did.

Ditto Grahambo before him, until it became clear that Graham wasn't nearly as good a receiver as one might hope.

he was like a ridiculously-skilled polar bear playing football among humans. I'll hold out a sliver of hope he changes his mind but understand and respect the decision and will miss him. Amazing player and with his blocking down the stretch this year (plus a few throwback catches for good measure) he definitely went out the right way.

Yeah, Kraft could have had Stormy Daniels come to his place in Palm Beach in a limo. Even if he prefers Asian girls, I'm sure he could find someone willing to perform in house. Or take his private jet to Thailand and get ten girls for the price of one in Jupiter, FL. And no cameras.

In most of the world, including parts of the good ol' USA prostitution is legal. I am not a Pats fan, but I think if Goodell tries to sanction Kraft with anything more than a perfunctory slap on the cock, I would be surprised. Personally, I think DUI is a more serious crime.

He was solid last year for the biting, fighting, Dolphins of Miami. He was healthy, I wouldn't let his stats bother me. Our QB play was less than stellar.

Those girls are shipped here, sometimes bound next to each other in their own excrement with little food or water, against their will through the guise of a job offer or straight up kidnapping.

It's not my thing in any sense, but I'm totally down if anyone wants to willingly engage in sex work or purchase a professional/semi-professional prostitute. That's not what this is.

I can tell you one thing that this definitely is: another huge reason to legalize prostitute and sex work everywhere. Give the power back and out a real economically sound backbone into it. Try to make any sort of legal pimping more of an academic or bureaucratic activity with near equal pay.

Gronky Kong the GOAT. I am blessed to have seen him play live.

These girls were not trafficked. I understand that people that use "Oriental Spas" are feeding that machine, and Kraft could have just as easily frequented a place that had slaves. My point was not directed at human trafficking, (which happens all over the globe and is not always about sex work). I find it hypocritical that something a man or woman can do in Nevada, (and most of the rest of the world), is illegal in another part of the US. I still think Polian being DUI is a worse crime.

I agree with legalization.

3 words

Let's Go Red Sox

I am excited for an MLB season for the first time in 10 years. Now that I am no longer employable, I can watch 100 or so games. I love baseball.

Sale getting destroyed in Seattle. What a joke. Looked like a rookie out there. Missing spots left and right and giving up 7 ER and counting.

This is a tough Opener. Hopefully they can get right.

Do the Brui have a chance to reach the Finals? Would be cool to have all four NE teams each win a title in the same season. Has that ever happened for any city/region?

All 4? Nope.

As far as I know, not even 3 teams in a city have won, within a year of each other.

Yep. The Bruins have a really good shot in my opinion.

Agreed. Still, woof. Not much room for error with the the Spankees starting with the Orioles.

Well, there goes their undefeated season this year. Didn't the Sox get swept in their season opening series last year? At least the Spanks have something to crow about for a while.

Mitchy 4 Bags and the pen saved the Sox from going 0-2. Hopefully it kick starts the season.

I'm with you, except that it now totally appears that the DA far overstated the trafficking element wrt to Kraft just to make a point.
