As far as on the court, it’s certain Horford wasn’t interested in playing another hand from the same deck. I asked him if his decision would have been different if Irving had remained.

“I’m not sure that has anything to do with it for me,” Horford said. “I just think that if Kyrie would have stayed, I don’t know if it would have worked. There would have had to be some major changes as far as players, because it was just clear that the group that we had just wasn’t going to be able to coexist.”

And what about if he’d known Kemba Walker was coming. Horford paused.

“I don’t want to get caught up in the past,” he said, “but, yeah, that would have been totally different"

Reload had hinted at the beef between Kyrie and Al last year. Anna Horford has also hinted at it. Al just confirmed it.

If Al really wanted to stay, we could made the Kemba deal a sign and trade with a 3 way sign and trade with Kyrie to the Nets. This would have required a 1st round pick to the nets the same as the GSW had to give as the Nets didn't have to do any sign and trades.

Talks were made that we wanted to do it with Al or Kyrie to keep Morris, but we would only give up a 2nd and sixers/nets both wanted a first. Morris was an asset, but not worth the 1st asset to keep him.

So, technically AL could have stayed with Kemba, but he had already committed to sixers long before the actual negotiation time and at that point we were pretty miffed that he had some huge offer before anyone could even offer it to the point we almost complained to the league.

Hey guys, had to light the match and share that article in the "Celtics exposed" thread
Wonder how long it'll take for Prokorov to come storming in.

Read on Twitter

Something I wish Jaylen and Jayson could get good at. You don't always need to get all the way to the rim in order to score efficiently.

Lol at this whole China vs. NBA thing going on. Nets owner managed to snag Kyrie and KD partly because he offered them great marketing opportunities in China. That well may be running dry soon, despite the owner's attempt to suck the CCP's collective dick and justify their hissy fit on Facebook.

There's no way the Nets do it for one first rounder. They wouldn't want to help us.

It would've taken the Memphis pick.

Steven Adams hit his first career three pointer in preseason last night. Good form, nothing but net, had a defender on him. Probably showcasing it to up his trade value. It was a corner three, but if he could turn into a legit pick and pop threat, and be able to space the floor from the corner.. we’d probably have to do a multi-team trade involving Hayward, but..

Kyrie's stupid masked face got hit by Rondo's shoulder in the first minute of their game vs. Lakers. Hey, I don't want anyone getting hurt while playing the game they supposedly love. But I can't sincerely say I can wish Irving all the best either. He's gotten close to Wade when it comes to my distaste for a non-Celtic player.

Nets 2nd "star" LeVert got hurt early in the game too.
Why is Chandler allowed to play?

**** both these teams haha.

How was that not a foul? He obviously threw a headbutt at Rondo's shoulder. Refs playing favorites again.

Rondo did what a lot of us wanted to do

Seriously though, hope he gets well soon. Don't want to beat that **** while he's down. Want it to be fair and square.

You're taking a huge leap of faith in assuming he'll even step foot in Boston again. That dude will injure his brain trying to come up with another 5 minute excuse as to why he left for the Nets.

I mean, it'll make sense in 10 years when KD/KI adopt a baby together, thereby announcing their domestic partnership?

There's like a 5% chance of this happening, right?

To be clear, not meant to be inflammatory in anyway. If Vegas had odds on this, I'd drop $100 on it just to salvage hope that the move was motivated by a secret love story rather than Kyrie's petulance.
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.
