Luka is the next Harden. LaMelo doesn't play like Harden at all..

Agreed on Luka; I just meant a flashy individual offensive talent who is a shrug/question mark on defense and winning.

I just don’t believe in LaMelo .... but if Danny and Brad do....and he realizes the potential being hyped.....that is a really great 2 way squad on paper.

If LaMelo is the guy a lot of smart people think he is he opens up a 10-year window of contention with the Jays. I think the GS pick is the most realistic option if they like a guy like Hayward. The Timberpups may want to take the next step. Who knows.. Hayward is the key I think..

Harden has won alot. He just ran into the GS dynasty and then the Lakers. He's had a lot of amazing playoff games. Harden is not a loser

I’d be happy with Jalen “Sticks” Smith at 14! Tre and Terry makes no sense — swap one of them for Woodard (or Paul Reed, Tyler Bey, or Xavier Tillman) and that’d be a nice draft though.

After weeks on thinking about who I want for Boston team at 14, if we keep the pick, I know who I want.

Precious Achiuwa.

He is want this team needs with all your guys that like to jack up shots. He is athletic, rebounds, good defender, good character guy, a-hard worker and a high motor guy.

Some parts of the game, if we good all defense, I would love to see us go with Smart, Brown, Tatum, GWill and Achiuwa. That would be a scary lineup for teams to face.

Hmmmmm that doesn't feel like a big enough injury to get him to fall, but he might? Maybe? Lol

Totally off-topic but is that cyrus from the trailer park boys in your photo?

I always enjoy it too. It's kind of a subtle pic of him without the car and such.

TPB is great

Rumors suggest we should expect
14 — RJ Hampton
26 — Josh Green
30 — Xavier Tillman

Not exciting. I’m sure if Cole Anthony lasts until 26 they’d take him.

Thoughts?

It's looking like we won't make a trade outside of giving Hayward what he wants and letting him leave for a TPE.

If we stand still and don't say trade the late first and the TPE for Steven Adams, I think The Ringer hit the nail on the head

#14 - RJ Hampton -- you're **** kidding yourself if Ainge isn't currently masturbating at the chance to draft another lottery guard who can't shoot. It's all he ever does in every single draft, including last year's draft.

#26 - Leandro Bolmaro -- big PG who can get the offense going. We proved last year a simple zone can stop Kemba/Tatum/Smart playmaking. But as soon as we got Hayward back and were able to initiate our sets from a big guards perspective we were able to run offense. Now that we've lost Hayward we need this change option or we might as well not make the playoffs.

#30 -- Tillman - Grant Williams but taller. And that extra height may be all we need for him to be a lesser Theis but again with a bit of a changeup since he can pass.

That seems like a pretty obvious draft picks from someone with Ainge's profile and the desperate needs of a team losing one of it's best players.

meanwhile I am warming up a bit for Poku. since he actually measure above 7ft without sneakers and a 7'5 wingspan. even gained some weight 195-211.

still wouldn't expect anything for 2 years, but still 18 and still growing. might be worth the wait.

Hate it with a passion. RJ struggled in the worlds 11th or 12th rated professional league. No jump shot.
Josh Green I could live with, not sure where he would fit on this team.
Xavier has a very limited ceiling imo. Rather look for a guy with a higher potential here.

my top picks at 14, including potential slippers

Pat Williams - see a poor man's Kawhi
D Vassell - best 3 and D (if he proved his shooting in workouts)
Isaac Okoro - Marcus Smart part 2 at wing.
Sed Bey - just fits right in.
Precious -most switchable Big with some potential on offense.
A Nesmith - make them pay for doubling up Tatum/Brown/Kemba

Okungwu. Runs both sides of the floor, you know what your getting with him. I'd look hard at Topin as well.

Wiseman to me, has character issues and is unproven. He quit on his team pretty easy last year for the suspension. The entire Penny in high school and college situation raises too many red flags for me. Also "won't talk to Minnesota" etc.....

Wiseman got screwed last year. The NCAA is totally corrupt his suspensions resulted from him and his family doing something legal that became illegal when his AAU and former NBA player Penny Hardaway took a job with the school he was headed to. The situation was ridiculous but Penny Hardaway appears to have used Wiseman's commitment to get the job at his own alma mater. He is the person who should have been punished not the kid and his family trying to navigate this bull system.

I've been around Seattle AAU ball for over 20 years. I use to post on here under tradevin. I've seen many guys come thru AAU and go on to the NBA, including a few former celtics. A friend of mine here is one of the top AAU guys and west coast coach. There are certain type of guys that swap high schools once, twice, three times. They also only have their own interest in mind, no one else's. They fade, they burnout and they wear out their welcome everywhere they go. Wiseman followed Penny to Memphis East and the followed him to Memphi$. He was getting paid at East, he was getting paid at Memphis. He knew the system, he knew the rules and then played the victim and THEN quit when suspended. Also, the way he refused to talk to the Twolves just rubbed me wrong as well. A chance to be the #1 pick in a pretty solid franchise and ??

There were also many reports about his motor in high school.

Too many red flags for me my friend.
