Can't agree with you on GSW. It would be a horrible, horrible, horrible move for a superstar in the NBA to join that team after these past playoffs. Imagine this, in 2009 LeBron leads Cavs to a 61 win season, but unexpectedly lose to the Boston Celtics 4-2 in the conference finals. He then becomes a free agent. People are pretty sure he's leaving, but how could he leave his home town. He has multiple choices. Boston has cap-room in this hypothetical of course. LeBron chooses to join KG, PP, RR and Ray in Boston.

NO Fning way! Craziness! LeBron includes Boston on his FA tour just to learn more about them to defeat them the following year. Maybe that's Durant's game here?

Okay before I go to sleep and gear myself up for disappointment tomorrow here are some of my final thoughts of the night...Okay in my MIND I think he's going to Golden State, however my GUT is telling me Celtics....Here's why...

1. The timing of the Celtics meeting and everything just seemed WAY too convenient to me... Horford one minute is going to back to Atlanta, the next minute he signs with THE CELTICS. Then you hear tweets that he preferred Washington's talent over ours... What made him change his mind? Then you hear a little while later that the Durant meeting was STILL GOING ON when Horford signed.

2. Durant was IN BOSTON the night before the meeting with the Celtics... he wasn't in ANY OTHER city of a team that was interested in him.

3. HE FLEW BACK ON TOM BRADY'S PRIVATE JET. Think about this, they said that our meeting was approximately 4 Hours long when in reality it was probably longer than that because I'm sure they talked ON THE JET too. Not only was Tom Brady on the jet but it was rumored that Ainge, The Owners, and the Celtics players were on there too! YOU KNOW THEY TALKED ABOUT BOSTON.

4. Durants favorite player is LARRY BIRD, he also said in the past that the Celtics organization was SECOND TO NO ONE. Everyone thought from the beginning that we had NO SHOT at Kevin Durant but we beat out organizations like THE SPURS, CLIPPERS, LAKERS, HEAT, KNICKS all BIG MARKETS and we are one of Durants final 3 choices?!?

5. Durant tweeted out back in 2010 that players need to stop forming these "Super Teams" and compete against the best they shouldn't be trying to team up and play together with them!

6. Danny Ainge has stated that he was going to Draft Durant had he been available when the Celtics picked... he had a close relationship with Durants mother, Durant is very close to his mother as evident by his MVP speech, you don't think that she may have a role in helping him pick the city he plays in should he LEAVE OKLAHOMA CITY?

All of these things to me make me believe he's coming to Boston it all just seems TOO CONVENIENT to me!

SO #KDToBoston !!!!!!!!

Now please excuse me while I prepare for complete and udder disappointment tomorrow when he doesn't indeed sign with us....

I would honestly choose the 76ers and TWolves before the Heat and I am no huge Heat hater.

I agree with that. But, you're 27 years old...Miami is a major draw.

IMHO if I was 27 years old and KD.... I would probably only want to date hot woman that also are pretty darn bright that are not stalking me for my wealth/fame. More likely to find that in some sort of grad student at a Boston area college than in Miami.

At the end of the day, KD can party anywhere and pretty much tons of woman want to date famous guys that will be worth 500+ million. But does he want to end up like a lot of nba players with a bunch of woman just using him?

I see weather/taxes as the real advantage of Miami over Boston but if he is concerned with weather, GSW better choice. And if he is concerned with endorsements, I feel Miami is a terrible choice since he is unlikely to win it all there and his national profile will just get hurt.

In regards to the women Miami has them hot as hell and a dime a dozen. It's like South America and nothing under an 8. Everyone has different tastes it just seems that 90% of the NBA has the same ones.

I'm starting to think that the only thing stopping him from coming to Boston is hesitance to leave the OKC. I know this flies in the face of what the media is saying (that's it down to OKC and GSW) but for the first time in this whole process I have a "gut" feeling and that's what it is.

So sleep well, Kevin Durant, and dream of Celtics Glory.

Yeah those are wrong. It's OKC, GS, and the Celtics. That's it. No one else.

Exactly, He always had 3 brackets:

OKC as a bracket of 1.

The Rich-Get-Richer bracket; GS beat SA in that one pretty handily, while CLE wasn't even invited to compete.

The Vault-Into-Contention bracket: BOS won that one against LAC and MIA.

Now there's a Round of Three. The winner will be decided soon after he wakes up in the morning and determines whether or not he feels the same way as he did when he went to sleep.

I really like how you put that. I think you are right. So now it's OKC v Boston/GS.

Another thing that is bothering me. He has such high regard for Pop, right? He apparently takes coaching well and almost looks for it.

What has Kerr really done? When he was out for what, 30ish games this year, they kept on humming with Walton. So what does Kerr actually do? Plus, when they got punched in the nose in the Finals Game 7, 4th quarter, they started playing hero ball at the end. Good coaches don't allow that to happen.

On the other hand, Stevens apparently is considered a brilliant tactician and well regarded for his coaching acumen. He also can make average players better so what can he do with elite talent? (As an aside, my personal most likely wrong opinion is Jaylen Brown will be an elite player). If Durant is into good/elite coaching, then GS in my opinion isn't even close.
