I will share this I don't think KG will be back and the Cs are going making moves as if he will not be back.

It has to be.

Frank I don't know you at all, and I'm making a big assumption here, but you seem like the type who'd get "excited" over a lottery pick ... "giddy" over Dwight Howard.

7pm can't come soon enough.

Well considering Frank Lucas wrote this in the past:

I think the Cs can go with Avery Bradley at the point if they trade Rondo.

I can't wait to see what actually happens. I think Ainge will try to trade Rondo and he will try for Dwight Howard

and

I would trade Rondo / JJJ and #21 to Portland for their two first round picks and Nick Batum

Since Frank Lucas is "giddy", you might be right but it looks like Rondo is a goner.

I ran into someone very close to the Cs when I mean close I mean this person has all the players on his cell phone and also I know he has one of the kids in this draft in his cell phone too. But that is all I'm going to say. But man oh man, Let's Go Celtics!

Also I never post any "source" stuff on here and I'm not going to start. But man oh man I'm giddy today and I'm happy I ran into this person this morning.

Dick move Frank j/k. The thing i take away most form this is KG leaning towards leaving. That sucks beyond words no matter what happens tonight. Even if we got a big fish in a trade I'd want KG to stay on to enhance our chances at a chip this year. It cannot be said enough how ridiculously good KG was this past year. I really want him and PP to win 1 more before they retire. Lets hope that part of your info was incorrect.

Sons of a bitch. Honestly, I spent my whole workday looking up info and waiting for rumors to break, and as soon as I leave this comes out.

oh and Frank Lucas wouldn't just throw this at us to mess with us imo, so..

I'm skeptical of Frank Lucas for obvious reasons.

Guys I'm really not messing with anyone here that is not my style. I'm just going to say I can't wait to see what happens tonight and the hours leading up to the draft. It's should be fun but I will say this that the person I ran into this morning was being someone what coy. But at the end of the day I felt was truthful. Than I come back into my office and a few minutes later I seen Yahoo sports report that he Cs are trying to move up into the lottery. So that right there told me that this person was not B.S. me and I will say I'm happy he is our coach....oops

I'm guessing it's going to be a Hou/Orl/Bos trade with Rondo leaving and Dwight coming with Ainge going after D. Williams. That's about the only thing that would make Frank Lucas "giddy" IMO.

I guess it's possible that the Celtics could do a HANDSHAKE deal for a star, then draft on behalf of another team, then consummate the trade in July.

That would allow the Cs to do a trade that they could only do right now if they renounced their FA, yet still look for ways to keep the Bird Rights assets via sign-and-trading some and sign-and-retaining others.

c'mon west, you can trust a man in such a fantastic green shaded button-up!

Also, I'm bringing my favorite tradition from the Realgm Packer board over for draft night and the inevitable Ainge Dominance.

May your giddiness spread to all, Frank!

Don't care what it is, I just love rumors and such. Draft night is really such an awesome time. This board is already rocking.

I mean, in the end if they even stay put, they can get two guys who may become stars. Should be fun.

Well, whatever the case, Frank, make sure you come back to this thread and spill the info after the draft, even if that which makes you so giddy doesn't come to fruition.

Personally, I think MKG is the 2nd best player in this draft and a perennial all-star type. If we're trading up, that's the guy I'm hoping for...

As for Dwight, f Dwight, that guy will never win anything I don't want him anywhere near Boston, he's not his own man, he's a musclely pawn of his advisers, and those guys are the worst kinds of leaders.
