Another good pre-game read about how Celtics defended Curry/Warriors in their 1st meeting:[tweet]https://twitter.com/ByJayKing/status/715842572124569600[/tweet]
If I didn't know better, I'd think Curry and Bradley were Siamese twins wearing different uniforms:

Spoiler alert: Curry swished that shot.
Bradley did play in the first meeting, of course, and he played well enough that when he fouled out, Curry admitted, "I was happy he got that sixth foul."

Is Crowder not playing tonight? It would have been great to see how well the perimeter defense of Crowder-Bradley-Thomas does against Curry and Thompson. Those guys did a great job during last matchup. Celtics are actually one of the few teams that can keep up with the Warriors when it comes to pace. Should be a good game regardless.

I was hoping that the Celtics blew off or didn't even show up to last night's game and were fresh/ready to go all out in this game. It is probably inevitable right now that the 85-86 Celtics home mark will be at least tied but I do not want it beaten. Warriors have to be a little mentally fatigued right now.

A win would be huge. Realistically, if the Celtics win tonight I think the 85-86 Celtics will have a 3 way tie for best regular season record. I would think if the Celtics pull off an upset, GSW with Iggy back will play very hard to win in SA to break the Spurs regular season streak there and increase their own chances for 73 wins.

Jae Crowder (rest) has been ruled out of tonight's game against the Warriors.
Yikes. Just hoping for a non-blowout now.

Great. This board is now 2-0 vs. me today.

Parliament's gamethreads are such a foundational rock of this forum that it didn't even occur to me to doubt anything in them. I'll never forgive you for exploiting that trust.

Spoiler:
Eh, ok, I'm over it. All is forgiven.

Also, not making any predictions, but if we win this, a lot of people are going to assume it's an April fool's joke if they missed the game when they check the box score.

Probably just Brad taking a page out of Pop's book and not wanting to show all his cards for when the Celtics meet the Warriors in the Finals.

No need for April Fools disclaimer here. I usually say foolish things anyway lol.

Gonna be such a kick in the balls if we end up with the 6th or even 7th is possible now.

Back off the ledge, **** Joe Lacob, win and take away one of their potential records.

“We’ve crushed them on the basketball court, and we’re going to for years because of the way we’ve built this team,” he said. But what really set the franchise apart, he said, was the way it operated as a business. “We’re light-years ahead of probably every other team in structure, in planning, in how we’re going to go about things,” he said. “We’re going to be a handful for the rest of the NBA to deal with for a long time.”

“In venture capital, I started 70 companies,” he told me. “I also watched my partners’ deals, maybe 200 of them. That’s a lot of companies. I thought about the way we design a board of directors, the way we design the financing. There’s an architecture to it. And I started thinking about the architecture I would use when I owned and built my own team someday.”

“It’s not just Steph Curry,” said Lacob. “It’s architecting a team, a style of play, the way they all play together. It’s all extremely thought through.”

IT is going to talk about this victory as the win that gave them the confidence to make the run for the title in a teary eyed press conference accepting the Finals MVP.

Plenty of time to get some brews, twist some thangs up, and prepare myself to seriously regret not going to the gym with the cute barista that works near me.

lol and I thought I had it bad just on the East coast  . I'll probably be asleep before it even starts. Gotta run my fitness test tomorrow and probably should attempt to get some sleep. How can you even afford to watch all these games so late btw? Do you just not sleep or what?

The Celtics have to play great defense if there have any hope of beating the Warriors. Don't try to be an offensive juggernaut, and try to out score them because it's not going to work. Play great defense, defend the Three well and live with the results .

I think you HAVE to hope Klay doesn't have a big game. They can might be able to slow down Curry but, if Klay gets going I don't think the green have the fire power to win this one in Oakland.
