You realize that Brown was supposed to go around 7th overall, right? The Brooklyn picks are out of teams control so they aren't as valuable as you may think. Noel is a generational talent on defense with the stats to back it up. Rozier is not the god you presume him to be, to me he's a throw in player, a little more valuable than a second round pick. Smart is terrible, point guards in the modern NBA need to be able to score 25 per game, and he can't. Brown is unpolished with potential, which is why a conversation would START with him, there would have to be more. If you guys think you'll be the only ones calling throughout the season, good luck with that. If you want to be foolish you can, but you are the only fans that value Rozier, Smart, and James Young.

By the time things start to come together (as in you land a Simmons), you start to lose good young players on the back end. The losing takes its toll and players want out of the situation first chance. Also, by collecting "assets" and not forming a team, players feel more like cattle and want to be part of something else.

Except that the team has all the control until they are UFAs. Essentially, unless the player chooses to sign their QO after their rookie year or takes a shorter deal, the team has control for the first 8-9 seasons.

Right, all your players are awesome and all our players suck. That's why the Celtics won 48 games and the sixers won 10.

I said your bad players are bad, if they were so good why didn't Rozier play more? And I said Noel is a generational talent on defense, which can be proven using stats. Thank you for putting words in my mouth.
And why do you guys act like if we don't trade a center to you we won't be able to trade one? There are other teams that needs centers too. I can't wait to beat you guys this season! Embiid, Jah, Saric, possibly Noel, and Simmons will give you guys. Horford can only guard one guy, so who else will guard Okafor/Embiid? Tyler Zeller?
