Poor DJ, felt good about him as a prospect.

I also thought for roster needs we'd maybe keep him around. Must have a lot of confidence in Smart and Rozier at PG to not keep one in development.

Nice to see Semi and Nader locked in long term. That's what you want for a 3 max contract team. Cheap cheap options that might be able to contribute.

With the news of Jackson being cut, we're just about done here. Accomplished what we wanted to accomplish. Really no reason to put Tatum or Brown out there again for the rest of Summer League. Nothing left to learn from having those guys on the floor. Same with Nader as well. At this point, would like to see a little Jabari Bird ballhandling and facilitating offense tonight to see if he can do it. Furthermore, time to experiment and see if he can stay with PGs defensively. I'd definitely give him one of those 2-way deals and let him spend time in the G-League all next year learning how to be a big PG. Last chance for Kadeem Allen to make his case who has had a couple of nice moments but overall not much noise. Semi gets hopefully a few more offensive touches tonight.

Meh.

Tatum is a big investment. I don't want him getting caught up in "big" Summer League games. Summer League is supposed to be for evaluation. And imo, we've done that. There's nothing left to evaluate as far as Tatum in game. Don't risk it. Let Bird, Kadeem Allen, and Semi have this one. Those guys still need evaluation. They could use the big game.
