Even without Lebron the Cavs are over the 102m salary cap with the 10 players they have. Ouch.

And just like that the Lakers are relevant for the next 4 years. We really have to up our game and ensure we maintain the title record from LA (although not all of LAs trophies are even theirs).

They may not make a finals run this year, but the next and years after he could legit win another two.

Still doesn't help the cavs cap situation since they have to take equal salary back right?

Love will opt out next year I assume so may as well keep him.

The good news is that Lebron has a great history of leaving teams desolate when he’s done, so let’s hope history repeats itself in 2022.

I think LeBron teaming up with Kawai and someone else is similar to what Celtics did in 2008. Magic wants to win NOW. Lakers even with LeBron/Kawhi could have a short window - which will drain LeBron in a bloodbath conference. Teams like Boston, 76Ers, Suns, Mavs, Milwakuee, will be on the rise as GSW, Houston and Lakers cross over the rainbrow bridge.

Irving
Brown
Tatum
Hayward
Horford...

JB and Tatum should aim to be all stars by February.

What are the Suns doing exactly? Talk about poor roster management. Dumped money on Ariza and cut Tyler Ulis. They don't have a decent point guard on the roster....

If Kawhi goes to LA and Demarcus leaves New Orleans, I think Philly will move quick on an offer for Anthony Davis..

I'm not hearing anything, it just seems likely - Philly wants to load up, they were chasing Lebron and Kawhi - once Cousins is gone from New Orleans, the Pelicans are still capped out, and their only move is to try to sign a max player next summer, which would mean renouncing Mirotic, too.

Philly can offer any/all of Covington, Bayless, Saric and Fultz, and have Simmons, AD and Embiid as their core, with cap left over for Reddick, Tyreke, or Avery Bradley..

How quick New Orleans says No would be much quicker than anything the GM-less 76ers could say.

"I am Brett Brown. I learned from Pitino. I give you Fultz, you give me Davis."

Crazy Detroit, under new management but same stuff. Glenn Robinson?

Crazy Bucks, obsessed with Ersan Ilyasova since 1983. Milwaukee is like Trautman and Ersan Ilyasova is their Rambo. I drafted him, I trained him, I signed him, I traded him, I signed him, I think that makes him mine.

Celtics win, Baynes is the best deal so far.

76ers with a big loss. Ben Simmons always wanted to be a Laker, and LeBron going there and bringing in his people like Pope are pointing out that a couple of years from now Simmons will push his way to L.A. and join LeBron and try to win the Rookie of the Year award.

From what we've seen so far, New Orleans has not been interested in trading Anthony Davis, but more interested in building around him. Even though Philly has some assets that might intrigue many teams, I don't think they have enough to entice them to trade their top 5 player in the NBA.

Not if he is traded to a team with cap space to absorb the contract. But there are few such teams left, and most would have no need or interest in Love.

I was sure Philly was going to draft Fultz's jumpshot with their number ten pick this year, but for the second year in a row it went undrafted.
