Cross posted from the Around the NBA thread - Donovan Mitchell had a 35 shot, 0 assist night last night - the first time that has happened since Antoine (another Pitino alum) had his 49 point game in 1998. Except Mitchell only scored 31 on 13 of 35 shooting.

And he's facing criticism for it, so he is likely going to come out tonight trying hard to create offense for his teammates - we've gotta defend him accordingly.

We won the must win game.

2.5 games back now with nearly 20% of the season in the books.

Just go out there and get that win.

After this game we have...

BOS upcoming games: CHA, Knicks, Atlanta, Dallas, Pelicans, Cavs, Wolves, Knicks, Bulls, Pelicans, Wizards, Atlanta

While the Raps in that same stretch will face GS x2, MIL, Philly, POR, Clips

Now is the time, sorry you aren't ready yet Hayward. Tatum, you've been okay 3 out of the last 4 games. Time to start taking over, we need you.

Time for this team to fulfill it's prophecy. It's going take having the best record in the NBA to do it, so do it.

I'm perfectly okay with that. He is really the only guy on that team who can fill it up night in and night out, so if he is deferring, we should be in good shape. Regardless, he has been a ridiculous chucker all year. Don't see that changing much tonight.

I have nothing left after last night, glad the players are considerably younger than I am.

As long as it Celtics don't make Ingles look like a top 5 player in the NBA they might win.

I know Utah played last night as well but that was a pretty grueling game for the Celtics so we'll see how much they have left.

Gordon Hayward plays all 68 minutes tonight, scores 100 points, and hits the game-winning elbow jumper in JAE CROWDER'S MUG. #revengegame

Get this one for Hayward even if he plays bad.

Hayward busted his hump for Utah and they treat him worse than Lebron got for being a Free Agent.

Threats to his family.

And crowder was a main reason Hayward broke his leg so I cannot stand his a$$

I hope we still change the starting lineup.

Put Morris in, Hayward to the bench.

Have the bench run plays for Hayward or set him up to run plays for shots for Rozier/himself off cuts/alley oops.

Morris has earned the starting lineup. I think there may be something to Tatum playing SF and all the success he had doing so last year and him playing PF.

And simply put, Irving/Tatum/Morris are the only players on our team shooting over 40% from 3.

But man, last night it was painfully obvious when you see him IN PERSON. **** Hayward is slow out there. And has no lift.

Let's just get off to good starts and win 75% of the game by having winning starters. We can figure out the rest, and we can afford to get Hayward back slowly if he's the bench production instead of the starter production.

Hoping the fans will boo Crowder and Hayward teabags him with a massive dunk that sends him to the stanchion.

Poetic Justice.

The Jazz are so overrated. Doesn’t surprise me at all that they are sub .500. People actually had these bums as the third seed in the West because of a role player who’s a total zero on offense. They are the definition of a treadmill team. Hope we give them a good spanking tonight

Unfair to Gobert IMO, yeah he sucks on offense for sure but he's also so good on defense it doesn't matter. Also Mitchell, despite his struggles, has insane talent.

But if the Celtics let Ingles score 30 freaking points again...
