The Lakers trading LeBron at last resort for AD would almost be better than us getting him.

I would offer Jabari Bird, a bag of potato chips, and a banana peel for Drummond.

AD taking his teammates out to dinner is like one of those "mutual" breakup meetings

To Drummond's credit, he's become a pretty skilled scorer in the post. More than just a lob guy. Not sure I'd give about Jabari for him though.

I had a hard time offering the banana peel as filler, might have been too much.

In all seriousness, does Lebron, AD, and X get you past the Warriors? The team would be gutted. Kawhi would make them interesting but it's a 3 man rotation and Lebald is not getting any younger. I just don't see why the Lakers are attempting to unload the farm because even if they bring in a 3rd star their team will be MLE ring chasers..and not just one or two..like a FULL team of them because they will literally have to dump half their team and picks for AD and then will be capped right out

KD Is leaving and I don't think there's a way to keep Boogie.

Would we be able to pay KD, Kyrie, AD and Hayward?

I think that we should trade Hayward.
But, we could probably pay them, if we wanted to. The Tax would be through the roof, though.

I don't know for how long or if he's the key to a championship or multiple championships or what have you. But AD has been Danny's white whale for a long time and he's finally going to get his chance. For better or worse, I can't see him turning down any reasonable deal.

LOL you know Moby Dick ends up destroying Ahab's ship and escaping right? Maybe not the best analogy.

Actually Ahab ended up pacifying Moby, adopting him, & then raising him in Transylvania. Moby fell in love with a beautiful buxom young maiden and lived happily ever after. Google the last scene in Young Frankenstein by Mel Brooks where Madeline Kahn & the Monster are sharing a post-coital cigarette.
I would guess that Moby DICK, the Monster, & Aron Baynes share a unique anatomical feature.

Outside of Lakers fans and people who hate the Celtics, all I've seen are rational suggestions for the Pelicans to take the bidding to the offseason.

Yes. Whether ownership would want to pay is another story which I don't think anyone can answer. Certainly that's a championship level roster by talent even if Hayward never returns to form so they would probably be fine paying the tax for a year or two. Horford would be off the books shortly anyway in this scenario where Kyrie+AD are re-signed to supermax deals.
