Baynes is injured and we only have horford as a good big but we don't have any glaring needs, **** Ainge.

Once he lands one of the top 3 players in the league this offseason I want you to remember this shameful post.

Apples and oranges, it's about depth in the PF-C position.
BTW Davis isn't even top5, but if that makes you feel better about getting him then keep being delusional.

Davis is Top 5. Most likely Top 3.

Higgs,

We could use another big. I bet we get one on buyout market.

As days Anthony Davis:

1. Lebron
2. Durant
3. Giannis
4. Davis
5. Steph
6. Leonard
7. Harden
8. Embiid
9. Paul George
10. Kyrie
11. Westbrook
....

We can argue and debate who is where, but those are the guys.

Lebron, Curry, KD, Giannis, Harden are better than him, and maybe kawhi too.
He should better as defender and playmaker to be top5, he isn't KG o Duncan in that sense. He is a big with all the good and bad things that comes with it, and he isn't that good in the good things.
But taking into account your comments I doubt you understand something like that.

If they had beaten the Lakers, a loss here wouldn't be the worst. But oh well, Lakers hit a million **** shots that they shouldn't have, so here we are. I wonder how Brad coaches a game like this since the Clippers rotation will be so wildly different for this game relative to the rest of their season. No Harris, Boban, Scott, Milos, Bradley, Gortat. Add in Green, Temple, Beasley, Zubac, Chandler, Shamet. That's an insane amount of turnaround. Six players in, six players out in a 36 hour span. I don't even know what the starting lineup will be, don't even want to guess.

Lets go!

Boston is 10-2 during this stretch. Losing to the Warriors by 4 and Lakers by 1.

Let’s make this 11-2! Let’s go!!

AD at 29 pts, 13 rbs, 4 assts, 2 stls, and 3 blks per 36 this year, at age 25.
He has a TS% of .600 on 30% usage. He is a very good big-man defender, but hitting 32% on 3's and 82% on FTs.
He has a PER of 31.2, BPM of 9.2, and WS/48 of .271.

Counting him as a big, you need to consider all that he delivers as expected in that role--and then additional. And he is off the charts in the additional category, which makes him more valuable if he were, say, simply a wing with the same offensive numbers. E.g., 4 assts/36 from a center is generally more additive to a team than if it were from another position.

Not really, it depends on the play style and how that player is used. There are players in the league with inflated number of assists in comparison to their true level as playmakers, Davis is one of them (there are cases in all positions), he has improved in these last 2 years in that aspect but he isn't good enough at it to have the same impact as other perimeter superstars and is more evident in a team like the pelicans that lacks playmaking and don't even have a good PG to play with holiday as SG.
Probably when he is in a team where he doesn't need to score as much and can save more energy to play defense then he will become top5 or closer to it than now.

That loss to the Lakers left a really bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully the Clips will be the mouthwash we need to make it all better.
The problem is that Boston plays, really bad against teams that are tanking, and now that it appears that the Clips are going to be tanking the rest of the season (at least according to all the RealGM experts???), I don't feel great about this game.
I really think Boston would have a much better record, if all of their games were against the top teams in the league.

If we had just beaten the damn Lakers the other night, fans could have just left these cards on the seats for tonight's game! The "again" just doesn't fit now. :curse:
