Only problem with selecting Fernando for me is that Williams is fairly similar to him and Williams is actually a better athlete while Fernando seems a tad stronger. But if we get him I'll take it anyways(i don't have a choice)...

I know they are redundant a bit, but Fernando is a more glass dominant center than Williams. Also he projects to space the floor way sooner than RW. I'd like to go PJ Washington, who projects to be on similar roles as Morris/Millsap, but we would need to get him at 14, which == no Herro for sure.

But I'm quite sure between Miami and Charlotte they'll split Little and PJ.

Combine 22 + 20 for 15-16 and draft Herro or Langford. ;) I think it's really possible to trade up in this draft. 3-4 positions for 2 first rounders should be doable.
Good assessment:

Yeah, trading up will be really easy as everyone should be trying to trade back or out. But, a part from Herro who I'm in love with, I'd like to get as many shots at the pie as possible, given the probability of most 1st rounders to panning out really.

The uncertainty from 9 to 30 is also makes it really difficult to project anything. Clarke could go 10th or 20th, as far as I am concerned. Miami could like Keldon or he could be picked 25. Little or Doumbouya doubt they slide. Langford should not slide after 22 but who knows. NAW will be taken by the Magic if not picked before for sure. ATL probably drafts Claxton at 17, though I think they should trade back and grab G. Williams.

Yeah, I don't understand this second workouts or last workouts. Do we have a complete list of who we worked?

I remember Little worked with us, so I assume we brought Herro, Langford, KPJ, Doumbouya, Clarke, Williams, Garland, NAW etc right??

Yes but there were at least 10 guys in the big list I've never heard of. Hoping Danny and co don't outsmart themselves with this 1.

I'm guessing they are looking at picks at 51. If they brought Lecque along with Waters, Terence Davis, etc. that's 2nd round for sure. Or Ainge has definetely lost its mind.

Think were looking to trade one pick for two second rounders, if I had to guess. Maybe 20 for 27+31

I feel like Ainge will be unlikely to trade picks for value as nobody wants them. I’m expecting Goga, Samanic and Chume to be our picks with all 3 stashed.

Happy Draft Night everyone! One of my favorite sports nights of the year. I have no idea why I love it so much, but I do.

Let's go Celts! Hopefully, some nice surprises are in store tonight.

LOL, the Celtics are one of the smallest teams in the league, and they get even smaller with Horford's departure. So Ainge needs to select every short guy in this draft (Garland, Karsten Edwards), in order to perpetuate the undersized tradition. God forbid he picks someone who might actually defend the paint and get a rebound. That's so passe.

Drafts are the best. I would either like a move for a vet or them to trade up. But if neither happens and we get no action. I’ll still be on here talking about “enter Euro stash here” and saying I’m really excited for what this kid can bring.

As always I am hoping for a combo guard, an undersized PF and a big with upside that can’t play in the league...

I like to set the bar low, so I will be thrilled if Ainge picks a good player.

The Ringer (Kevin O'Connor primarily) has us taking NAW at 14, Bol Bol at 20 and Ty Jerome at 22.

I could live with that if we make no trades but still hoping we don't use all 3 picks and trade up or out.

I like Jerome. Bol Bol and Naw sounds like noises I make when I eat.

Prospect comparisons to NBA players are what they are but two of those guards are compared to Brogdon, which I actually love because he's a guy I'd like on the C's. Having said that, I hope we get a little more versatility than that.

Maybe Herro with that first pick, still Jerome at 22 & I'm not a huge fan of Bol Bol, but I guess he's an interesting risk that late on in the draft.

Me too! It would be right there with the Ryder Cup as the sporting event I'd most like to attend.
