The Celtics just picked up two very strong rebounders. That might no longer be a weakness and (gasp) could even be a strength this year.

Any chance French Baynes will play in summer league?

You can never have enough "true warriors on the pitch".

I wonder if he'll play in the Summer League?

What are we mad about?

Signing a big to a minimum contract? This is an outrage!
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Looks like this is how we're rolling for bigs this year.

That should be enough fouls to get us to half time against Embiid! Then it’s Semi/Yabu time!

C'mon, our summer league team is already going to wreak havoc on their unsuspecting opponents. Let's give them half a chance and let Poirier sit these out. 8-)

Let's all meet on the pitch for a good ol basketball match

Poirier is alright, he's a late bloomer and a career backup in the NBA in my opinion. I'd rather have Theis than him if you ask me.

I hope this doesn't interfere with the Celts re-signing Theis.

Theis will have a career year if he gets back. Dont see much of a role for Poirier.

Yabu - “the French” Draymond Green.
Sekou - “the French” Pascal Siakam
Ntilikina - “the French” Gary Payton

Poitier - “the French” Aaron Baynes.

Nobody ever called Batum, Gobert, Parker or Diaw “the French” anybody.

I hope “the French” isn’t code for can’t play in NBA.

Looked him up and saw that he led the Euroleague in rebounding last season so that's very nice already. I think he's a capable shot blocker from a few highlight videos I saw. And he's actually 7 feet. Hooray!
