Kudos to Miami. They outplayed Boston down the stretch.

If I have to see one more crucial possession that consists of Kemba pounding the ball for 15 seconds with no player movement and then charging into traffic and throwing a terrible shot, I’m going to lose my ****.

This team isn’t getting past Miami if Kemba continues to play like this and Brad throws his clipboard into a Florida swamp down the stretch.

Last two regulation possessions lost them the game. Can't have those in crunch time. Other than that. That's what this series is going to be.

We had no business winning that one. Now they have 45 hours for some soul searching.

Need Hayward back asap.

Down 0-1 in a long series. I hope people on here can relax and not disparage the players.

Team choked. The overtime was absolutely atrocious and they had a 10-point lead in the 4th.

On top of that they literally cannot get a crucial stop when they need to. Like ever. How many times are we going to see this team fail to get a stop? They stop Herro, or Butler hitting a 3 they win. They stop butler in OT they win.

Instead it's the same **** every game where teams just continue to hit every game saving shot. Meanwhile we have Walker turning the ball over or Tatum bricking an awful 3 or getting his dunk blocked.

It's infuriating how this team operates.

Terrible play-calling and/or execution at the end of regulation. Kemba doing his best Kyrie 1 on 3 to get stuffed and then Tatum launching a 30 footer when the refs bailed us out and all we needed was a FT. Absolutely embarrassing coaching and playing. They deserved this loss.

I'm not sure if I can remember a player having the yips like this in basketball. Kemba can barely even hang on to possession when he has it lately.

All of that and an OT loss. Celt's can and should still win this, with or without Hayward.
Hey Man, nice shot!

I mean it's a million issues. Awful play calling at the end of games, Brown & Kemba invisible, Tatum forcing shots when he doesn't need to. I truly just don't think this team can close. If they have a sizable lead they can hang on but I never feel confident that in games where the game is close in the 4th that we a shot.

Well deserved win for Miami.

Can’t keep giving a great shooting team open looks and expect to win. The less said about our “plays” down the stretch, the better.

The defense concerned me a lot this game. Seems like all the threes the heat hit were open and there was a lotttt of confusion on those plays. Also Theis committed some terrible fouls to get them in the bonus where it felt like they shot free throws every play late.

On offense, what can I say, Kemba was very poor again. Tatum shot selection in the clutch has not been good and shorting a lot of threes. Need to run more plays, felt like we got nothing in the paint tonight.

Our 3rd OT game of the Playoffs.
We need to close out these games in Regulation.

We kinda didn’t deserve to win.

You can’t choke a 12 point lead in the 4th. That’s just inexcusable.

For some reason I’m not even that mad. We need to play better. Kemba specifically.

Tatum with an airball in the fourth, a bad shot to try to be a hero in regulation, a foul on Butler to seal away the game, and a confidence breaking block. I also don't know what he was doing when he walked the ball slowly up the court late in the game and nearly could have had two 8 second calls. I think one definitely was. This is on Brad to, for not coaching in those moments.

And can someone please tell Kemba which way the basket is!! Time after time he kept dribbling backwards toward the halfcourt line, making The Heat see an easy double opportunity. A few times they didn't even look like they were going to double until he did that!

Hopefully Kemba unshook himself with the final 10 minutes of play. Butler and Bam just made unreal plays at the end. Smart almost cheesed a win with that drawn foul at the end of regulation that will now go forgotten.

This is gonna be a heckuva series. I think Miami’s D was helped by Robinson’s foul trouble. Or they’re just better at it than I thought.

Wish we would just run our offense down the stretch instead of this weird iso stuff with Kemba and Tatum after running the clock down to like 5 seconds. It’s reminiscent of late 90s early 2000s ball. I barely saw Smart or Jaylen in the 4th quarter and OT. Smart had like 26 points through 3 quarters and then never got the ball back

Onto game 2, but people over looked Miami a bit as well. They had a lot more time off to rest and our team is running on fumes at times with a lack of depth and all these long games that are continuing from the Raptors series.

Even if Hayward returns I keep reminding people he is coming off a bad ankle sprain.

Just hope to win game 2 now.
