If the tax line will be at 132, that will kill player movement in the entire league. Windhorst has already said as much.

Team(s) trying to trade for Hayward can also put a squeeze on us. "Okay, since we're already helping you get under the tax, no need to include this asset and that." Return could get crappier.

$132M seems ridiculous. They better change that to the supposed $139, or better if they can.

I'm sticking with Smitty.

Celtics will be like 10 million over the tax if this $132M number ends up true. So the payroll would be nearly $160M!? And that's if Kanter opts out. Considering the revenue crashing, **** RIP Celtics. Hopefully this CBA gets abandoned. We will need to beg for Kanter to opt out or he will cost $16M.

Gonna be a wild 4 days. I hope that were not in run it back mode or that the cap situation is used as a handicap as to why we aren't players.

Anyway, LFGOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

The Celtics top free agent target should be Brad Wanamaker.

So is it 20th or a few days before the 18th I'm reading two conflicting reports?

20th is start of FA. 22nd is when players can officially sign.

A few days before draft is most likely deadline for player/team options and start of trading.
