At the very least, if you havent given up on the season, the crowded standings make for some good scoreboard watching.
Was watching Miami best the Lakers last night. Now tonight Celtics have an easy must win game. Atlanta plays the post-deadline bulls and the hornets play the bucks. Should be a handful of relevant games every night the rest of the way.
A fully-healthy Heat had a hard time finishing off the Lakers who were missing AD, Lebron, THT, and Kuzma. Even Drummond was hobbled with an injured toe.
I might be fine with the Cs ending up as the 6th seed with a first round matchup vs. the Bucks.
Not an impressive win at all but still counts and for Miami its one that looked like an L on the schedule before the injuries were known.
Id rather host a series and avoid the good teams in the first round obviously (4th), but home court advantage doesnt mean much so 5th is okay. If we have to face one of the good teams in the first round, I prefer Bucks, Sixers, nets in that order, which is reverse order of the standings. So for once... I am not rooting for any side scenarios where I prefer a worse seed based on matchups.
Just win as many games as possible and let the chips fall where they may.
