With the way curry has played and just eradicated any doubt of the dopey people saying he’s done or can’t carry a team I’d suspect the dubs heavily pursue towns or beal or whomever is available (if?) this summer.
Dudes playing way too great to not try and capitalize on these last few years

Make starting center a priority. Timelord can't be it if he's always sidelined or in minutes restriction. If they can do it while also unloading Kemba, then better.

If Ainge sells high on JB and TL, and builds around JT, what would you want in return?

Not ready to trade RWilliams but Jaylen-based packages:
Sabonis (don’t know why IND would but don’t know where they’re headed — heck JB and Kemba for Sabonis and Brogdon$$$$:)
any three Hawks from Collins, Capela, Hunter, Huerter, Bogdanovic, Dunn, and OKONGWU (actually not any three, but a good mix and No Gallo)
Lonzo, Steven Adams, and a first or two
.. I’ve removed Vucevic from this list due to age and apparent great fit with the Bulls. Farewell, Vucevic island. I enjoyed my stay.

I will be 100% surprised if Marcus Smart is on the Celtics next year. Smart is in the last year of his contract next year and is due a big payday. I think Ainge and the Celtics plan on moving forward with Brown, Fournier and Tatum. Fournier playing so well with Kemba Walker is just cementing this idea.
I think some combination of Smart/G Williams/Langford/1st round draft pick gets moved for a quality player with size.
All the circulating rumors about Smart at the mid season trade deadline this year was just setting up talks for this summer.

Re: Trade Thread 2021-22: To Trade Or Trade Not
Lowry is leaving Toronto this offseason.
Siakam had falling out with Coach Nurse.
So Siakam is gone and they need a PG to replace Lowry.
Siakam and Kemba's contracts are very close.
A straight up swap wouldn't work, since Siakam is better, younger and less injury prone.
But I'm thinking we add in a 1st round pick.
Kemba + 1st round pick for Siakam..
Then you put Sakam at the 4. He's a more natural 4 so Tatum slides down to the 3 which is his natural position so you don't have him trying to defend bigger 4's like Sabonis, Giannis, Durant, Collins, Davis, etc.
Siakam can also play small ball 5, so at times you could play him at the 5 and Tatum at the 4 if you go small....which wouldn't even be that small since Siakm is 6'9", 36.5 inch vertical and 7'3" wingspan. He just turned 27 so has a few good years left for sure. Won a title as the Raptor's no. 2 option. He could be a perfect no. 3 option here alongside the Jays.
Then if you're able to resign Fournier, you roll with Tatum/Brown/Siakam/Fournier as your primary 4 scoring weapons. Those 4 healthy for a long stretch of time could be scary.

I like all the reasoning, but TOR isn't doing that.
Smart, TT, Langford for Siakam works, though. Might still have to throw in our first.

Atlanta had interest in Smart. Not sure if they'd deal Okongwu for 1 year of Smart though.

This is suuuuper interesting but idk if either team does it. Pascal seems like a me me me guy with little fight (which is the last thing we need) and I doubt they'd want Kemba anyway. Kemba for a low level roleplayer, like what Philly did with Horf, is prob the best we can do.

Kemba has looked as quick and healthy as I can remember since joining Boston. please tell me there is even a small chance to trade him without giving up a pick.. please tell me.. Lie to me, I don't care..

We can get Al and a 2nd each from NYK and OKC in a 3 way.

I am confused ..how/why this would work. If Kemba goes to NY, why do we need to take back Horford ?

Re: Trade Thread 2021-22: To Trade Or Trade Not
I like the idea of getting Siakam for Kemba. But I seriously doubt TOR wants a Kemba FVV backcourt, that's a defensive disaster. I think we'd need a 3rd team somehow.
Kemba for Al is a lot simpler. But it requires OKC taking on some salary. Which they might need to anyways, just to meet minimum payroll. The only thing bad about Al is his contract, but we'd actually be saving money.

Re: Trade Thread 2021-22: To Trade Or Trade Not
The first person you need to move is Smart preferably to the West. Once he's gone, lot of our issues will be solved. Then try to get somebody or something for Kemba. We need tall shooters and taller pass first PGs. Then at some point you are going to have to decide if Jaylen is a good fit to the team. I would like to say its not him but the coach that is the problem but saying that isn't gonna get CBS fired. After than keep Nesmith, Tatum, Fournier, Pritch and Rob. Trade or buyout everybody else.

We don’t, but I think he’d be a great 3rd big behind Rob and Mobley.

Think houston would be open to trading one of their 2 late firsts?
And what would the cost be?
COuld be very beneficial to making other trades this offseason having it as an add in. They currrently have 23 and 24.
