Initially wasn't that high on Udoka, but felt better about him after reading an article about his time with the Spurs and evolution as a coach and hard work, etc. Hope the team listens to him and he's not afraid to lead from the front.

Biggest thing is the Jays wanted him and respect him. And he's extremely experienced, put in the work, and is deserving of the job. And he's married to Nia Long. No complaints at all.

Wasn't really aware of him until a few weeks ago, but I'm good with it.

He at least says all the right stuff about unselfish and tough play. That the Jays endorse him and presumably respect his Pop lineage is good. He looks like Horford's older brother. Soft spoken and mild mannered enough to make Brad feel comfortable, apparently.

Good to have a little more C's news to chew on this week as well...

I’m not exaggerating when I say that Tatum is ecstatic with the hire.

Obviously Jaylen, Smart, and Horford are happy, but Tatum got legitimate say in this. Pop put in a GREAT word, as well.

Let's hope Smart actually respects him and Udoka is able to put some restraint on Smart
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

If Keith’s sources are correct, then it looks like Marcus will be staying.

Can’t imagine Brad asked him his opinion to then send him packing. But I guess Ainge did it with IT, so maybe he does have that worminess to him as well.

Not bad. Becky Hammon was the best choice out there, but nevermind. If the Jays wanted him, it's all good.

Smart doesn’t need to be reigned in btw, just needs a healthy team.
