a Break the ICE win, but if I am being truthful, Ime has shown that he has a ton of faith in Smart and Schroder together. I have a hard time seeing them beat good teams with them and a great team? :o

It feels like a "win the battle", "but lose the war" approach. There is NO WAY you can win Big in this league with "non Shooters"

It will be only a matter of time when teams start to really trap Tatum and Brown. And it will lead to a ton of missed open looks, then JT and JB trying to do to much.

Waiting for Nesmith to hits shots is one thing. But coach Ime also hardly played PP who is shooting well.

Me feeling concerned about this team going forward is my understatement of the week so far.

Gotta go Tatum for being the best player on the floor and getting us the first W of the season. Grant puffs for making such huge strides this offseason. He looks like a different player out there.

Jaylen Brown’s 3rd game in the NBA - 3-6, 7 points.
Jalen Green’s 3rd game in the NBA - 11-18, 30 points.

Just don't leave out the fact that one came into a playoff squad and had to earn minutes while the other is playing for a dumpster fire of a franchise and doing whatever he wants on the court.

Thankyou. I thought this was obvious.

Tatum wins it but Grant and Horford were great as well. I do like Bootleg Rondo as the primary ballhandler, he made some mistakes but he is by far our best guy off the dribble and he's a serviceable defender on the other end.

People legitimately arguing with CFSB’s obvious messing around post is pretty funny.

Schroeder as backup pg is going to be a nice luxury this year.

Richardson looks less impressive but serviceable.

I am curious how glued to the bench Kanter is? Will he get more minutes against teams with more size? You would think so. I guess a part of it is Grant looking so good that he is taking Kanter's minutes. Not a bad thing. I just hope we continue to use lineups of Grant + a center not a lineup where Grant is the center.

Jalen Green is already a better player than Avery Bradley ever was. What may seem like a hot take to you today is going to be very factual within a few years. Go ahead and bookmark this post.

None of them measure up to Phil Pressey though

I disagree.. Bradley was a HOF defender from day 1.. He could also jump higher, he just chose not to so he could protect his knees and prolong his career. :D

Grant plays Settlers of Catan while everyone else plays Snakes & Ladders. I'm sticking by my dude. Him, Al, and Smart are high-level role players in my eyes, are perfect complements to the Jays and are the right guys to deploy in Ime's (desired) system.

My 3 favorite players above figure heavily on this set play:

rockets are going to be one of the worst teams in the league but they're also going to be a team that will give people problems - very young team so they'll get better as the season goes on. don't be surprised if there's a few games where they upset playoff contenders. they'll at least be competitive.

and they'll probably get a high draft pick again = you get a top 5 pick in the draft and add that draft pick to the existing young core of Porter Jr, wood, Green and Sengun...now that young core gets even better. 2-3 yrs from now, watch out for those cats.

side note - magic beat the knicks tonight. and i was thinking going into the season that orlando might be worst team in the league - this just shows you how competitive the league is from top to bottom.
