Langford’s record is 32 games in one season. This year he is at 29 games played. Could be a record breaking year. Going to be close!

No minutes restriction for Tatum.

“He’s had two or three extra sessions, and he’s looking good out here with what he is doing so far,” Udoka said. “He’s the type of guy that wants to come back and get right back into his role and not be limited. Something he’s stressed that he doesn’t love is a minutes restriction and anything like that. As long as his conditioning and wind is fine, he can get right back to playing at the level that he was.”

absolutely zero excuse for the Celtics not to win tonight. Spurs coming off a game last night, plus they stink. Celtics close to full strength and rested. Should be an easy win. SHOULD BE.

No Murray?

Oh man, we better win this game.

We should have pretty much all our guys healthy. Our guys better be motivated since we lost to the Spurs last time - plus Udoka going against his mentor Pop (for possibly the last time if Pop retires).

Just win, baby.

This goes without saying, we saw him damn near kill Brown straight off COVID. I hope Ime is being real about lessening guys minutes now that everyone is healthy. People don't play 46m anymore.

Uh oh. I was figuring that playing the Spurs, a road weary 14-22 team on the second night of a back-to-back, would possibly allow the Celtics to avoid overtime, but now that Murray is playing I'm not so sure.

But hey, if Brown or Tatum scores 50+ in a losing effort (like Trae Young last night), we can all bask in the glory.

Celtics are 4-0 when Tatum scores 50+, and 1-0 when Jaylen does.

But the snappy takes are way more fun, I know.

IDK why you're surprised. Before the season even started, Udoka was quoted saying that:

a) he intends to pick a starting 5 and stick with it - so that everyone knows their role and having a set, consistent starting unit would allow for better chemistry
b) the starting 5 is smart, brown, tatum, al and rob
