Size advantage of the Cs very obvious once the 3s were not falling for GSW.

Like what Steve Smith said on NBA TV, the Warriors will not grow taller in 48 hours.

Cs should maximize their size advantage.

IDK they crushed us on the boards in the first half. Looney was looking like Chamberlain out their, lets pump the breaks a bit here! lol

First of all, the Cs were **** awesome in the 4th. They consistently made the right plays and were relentless with their attack of the paint (leading to open threes). So I don't want to take away credit from them.

But I think part of the Warriors collapse was their arrogance. Once they had that 15-pt lead and a double-digit lead heading into the 4th, they were already sure they've won the game. They have a ridiculous 4th quarter net rating prior to last night and have been great at protecting big leads.

What I'm saying is I don't think we'll catch them by surprise again. That was the game to "steal". But objectively speaking, if we keep playing the way we did in that 4th -- defense and ball movement (esp with White instead of Rob) -- not sure what combo of personnel Dubs can put on the floor can slow us down.

Make it hard for him, but Curry will still get his. Limit the others as we've done this entire playoff run.

While this isn't a must win game on paper its the most important one for the Celtics. They need to win in order to start having doubt creep into the heads of the warriors. They more or less did to GSW in the 4th quarter what the Heat did to them in the 3rd quarter of game 1. Lets see how they can build on it.

Tatum needs to step up.

I'm not just talking about rebounds.

Try to get RWill more lobs.

Give Horford more touches inside the paint.

And force Curry to switch on Tatum as much as possible.

I think Williams knee is worse than they're letting on and thats why they aren't doing Lob City with him as frequently as before the injury.

Rob Williams' injury is hampering him significantly. Udoka complimented him after the Miami win for playing through so much pain.

He has to limit himself in many ways including less high flying, but if he hadn't given him what he could, the Celtics wouldn't be in the finals.

Read on Twitter

Never could I imagine us winning a shootout against the Dubs. That first quarter "defense" against Curry should never happen again.

It's ok for fans to be a little giddy after that great win, but the Celtics need to stay level headed about it.

Anyone who remembers the 1985 finals, saw the Celtics blow out the Lakers in game 1 and lose the series in 6.

But one of the great things about this team is how strong willed and determined they are. Ime Udoka won't let them get too high after that game.

I thought he looked more explosive last night than he did in the Miami series. 4 blocks!

Lol. Stop it with the excuses! It’s mostly mental with him than being injured. Like missing two consecutive free throws, or completely missing the rim from a 3pt shot. It’s mental. If he misses a few, it gets in his head. Just hope he bounce back next game, coz horford and white won’t have games like that again at the same time.

Not making excuses for him. I'm also guilty of calling him out when he plays awful. Just thinking that right shoulder might still be bothering him and could definitely be affecting his shot. But you're right, it could be all mental for him and something he has to figure out.

One thing going for the Celts is GSW's offense is totally predictable.

If the Cs just put in the work and keep challenging the shots of Curry and Klay, GSW will burn out.

GSW just doesn't have someone like Jimmy Butler, who can play bully ball, or a big man who score in the low post.

The Warriors are basically one-dimensional on offense.

Yeah he did. The extra days off really help.

But he's still not nearly where he was before the surgery.

Going to get the full Draymond Green on Sunday. Barking, Physical, Techs, Illegal picks etc.

Zoya,
Please find a YOU TUBE showing JB’s 10 point burst followed by the 17-0 burst by Pritch, Derrick, Al & Marcus.
It will become legendary.

Need to show what we are really capable of on D for 4 quarters and take their soul since we all knoe the Celtics won't shoot good every game even with open looks. Defense is the calling card. They are capable of forcing more turnovers too. The can win the turnover battle by more than 2.

Ah yes. I remember that well. It looked like another ring for the Celts after that 1st game. But it turned out badly after that. Never understood that Laker turnaround. I mean that 1st game was a slaughter. A blowout. But the Celts lost in the end.

Moral of the story is to indeed not get too carried away. Although this GS team has flaws that Lakers team didn't have. If we can scheme Curry better it'd make me feel a lot better. He had to many open uncontested shots. Got to fix that.
