In response to Stojko's post ^^^, I used to spend quite a lot of my limited cash as a youngster on records and DMC World Finals videos (on VHS!), I still have the videos somewhere.

I had dreams of being an X-Man as a youngster, never progressed out of my bedroom unfortunately.

RIP Roc Raida.

I finally watched The Last Dance now that it is on Netflix. So good….just as everybody said. Best moment for me was Larry Bird’s expression after Reggie’s heroic 3 pointer when entire stadium is going crazy and he seems to be only one aware that MJ still has 1.1 sec. left to make a play. [1:35 mark]

"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

No but I’m always hopeful. Eventually, losing money will force Disney to change its behavior. They’re seemingly doing their damndest to ruin once great MCU, Star Wars and Pixar. They were able to blame COVID for awhile and have now moved on to blaming MAGA, incels, racists, bigots and misogynists. But that can only work for so long before they’re forced to look in the mirror.

I watched the first two episodes of Rings of Power last night. Seems pretty good so far, particularly if you enjoy the Peter Jackson Tolkien releases. This show looks pretty amazing, at least Bezos has put his money towards something worthwhile (I hope).

The balance between progressing a story and world/context building when you only have limited episodes to work with is always a delicate balance. I thought the first two episodes leaned a little too much on the slower side of things progress wise, but in the context of the next few episodes that might be a good thing. Have to wait and see.

Ahhh...whatever happened to the incomparable "GrandMaster B" aka David Faustino?? What the hell is he doing with his life these days anyway?? I've seen ever single episode of Marrid With Children. For me, still in my top 5 fave comedies of all time.
