If we win this, I'm alright with losing the series. I know people will call this defeatist mentality, but I don't think we can beat the current Nuggets team. And I may be an egoist, but I have a much tougher time recovering from Finals losses than ECF. That's just me.

If every player somes out and plays with some damn intensity in defense the result will look after itself.

If we play to our potential and Miami still beats us, then good luck to them, they deserve the series.

If we beat ourselves through having a **** attitude at home, that's another story.

As we have seen for years now, this team goes as far as Tatum takes them.

If we get superstar Tatum we blow them out. If we get **** Tatum everything goes to ****.

Would be VERY fitting to lose this game after getting everybody back on the wagon..but I’d be surprised if they lost 3 straight at home. As bad as they are at home, they are going to show up to this one. Time to start changing some of our bad habits..

Based on how ass Jaylen and Brogdon have been they should win...that's the only thing that gives me confidence in general. Law of averages in the Celtics Favor..and the Heat others not dominating.

May we get Elimination Game Tatum from ECSF G7 2023 and not Elimination Game Tatum from Finals G6 2022.

He won’t be able to do it alone though. Everyone on the rotation has to contribute however they can. Most important of all, DEFEND AS A TEAM.

If there ever were a set of surrounding circumstances where an 0-3 deficit could be overcome this is it.

I mean Caleb Martin has played like Jordan and soooo many tough TOUgh shots of theirs have fallen, these out of body Heat experiences simply cannot persist !! What are we even watching here ??! they shot like 60% from 3 games 1 & 2 ! They cannot keep this up, PO jimmy is real but the rest of it ???!!

I have never seen role players do what the Heat have done, it has to end or we remain in bazarro NBa world

I agree with this. I said it before but this is probably one of the more realistic 0-3 scenarios of them all. Still not very realistic but we got the first one out of the way and the next game is at home. Usually when a team wins their first game after down 0-3 it's at home and then they have to do game 5 on the road. We are doing it in the best order if it has to be done :lol:

hopefully they woke up a sleeping Giant! Can't believe that was a no call yesterday lol. JT needs to stop whining after every play, then the zebras might give him the respect he deserves!

I agree. Jt complains a lot after non calls. Same thing with smart and Grant. I think that annoys the refs, and won’t give it to them unless too obvious. Butler, on the other hand, gets all the calls even if he is the one initiating contact. That’s because he rarely complains to the refs.

Same with me. Win another one, at least our guys can have some dignity intact. Plus the lakers losing, and the nuggets playing like champs, makes this a little more acceptable. I would be pissed if the heat beats the nuggets though.
but, if we win next game, who knows what will happen in game 6. Maybe our guys makes all their shots from down town, and the heat players feels the pressure, and misses theirs, and we blow them out. I like our chances if it reaches game 7.

I could be wrong, but the last time a 3-0 series went to 7 was Dallas vs Pippen's blazers if I recall - ~20 years ago

Humiliating sweep averted. Now to stave off a "gentleman's sweep."

Forget the 0-3 hole you had to climb out from. Forget needing to win 4 consecutive against the team that had just punked you 3 straight. The only thing that immediately matters is Game 5... Stay focused on the moment -- 1 game, 48 minutes.

You've already won 66 games up to this postseason, including 3 (RS-2 + PS-1) against the Heat, so winning another game shouldn't be a biggie. Just bring everything & save nothing for tomorrow.

Defend the homecourt! Fight for the dignity of your fans! Flash that Celtic pride! Stay alive to fight another day!

Win or lose, I am at peace knowing they did not get swept because Game 3 was heartbreaking to watch. It would be nice if they win but if they won't, just go down fighting. In the first place, this mess is on them and they only have themselves to blame.

Unless by some miracle, they reach the NBA finals, I am looking forward to the offseason.

Caleb Martin is signed for about 7M/yr the next two seasons. And he's maybe at worst, the 4th best player in this series (behind Butler, JT, Bam)? This annoys me to no end. Don't even mention that other scrub Gabe Vincent.

It would be quite something if these Celtics win Game 5 and somehow manage to become the first team in NBA history to come back from an 0-3 deficit. But that's still pretty inconceivable given how inconsistent and disjointed they could be, and how bad they are at protecting home court. I'll only start believing if they manage to force a Game 7, where anything can happen.

I really hope Miami's shooting percentages fall way back to earth. It's simply unsustainable given how terrible they've been all season. Let's hope that shooting magic transfers over to us this time.
