Oh, crumb.

While the Pistons now already hold the single-season losing streak record, the cross-season record is one higher. So they still have streak-avoidance motivation.

Guy is an extremely overrated coach & always has been. This isn’t the first time a team has quit on him, it’s just the first time it’s happened this early in the season. This is the same guy who coached a team that got blown out by 40+ in a game 7 of the WCF.

Cant believe the pistons were dumb enough to make him the highest paid coach in the league lol

DWhite's efficiency this season has been off the charts. Here are the players currently averaging 15+ ppg on 65%+ TS% with an A/TO of 3.0+:

James Harden
Derrick White

That's the list. Only one of those guys is an All-NBA Defender. By now, it's safe to say every playoff team would be willing to give up a pick swap for him.

The longest losing streak in all of US pro sports history is 29 games, done by the Chicago Cardinals of the NFL from 1942-45.

I think previous years' Celtics had a much likelier chance to fall trap to a game like this. This year's team, I don't think so. Dwhite, Jrue, and Al won't let it happen
