Parl can see the future. He just forgot to include the 9 VCs for White.

Relatively speaking, we lack beef, we have been relying on Al for beef, but Bam is just quicker and more athletic, much more physically imposing than KP, and when they try to, they often get him the ball in good spots. It's something they haven't been exploiting much - but will try to exploit in what they consider to be a must win game.
I hope that Tillman is prepared to step in and play, b/c I feel like he will be useful.
edit - also want to add that the Heat were 8-18 this season when Bam shot less than 50%, we held him to 44% game 3 (versus 69% game 2)....last year we did a decent job of containing Bam in terms of scoring, but he had 5 or more assists in three of their four wins...

If their gameplan is to feed Bam in the post, just put a body on him and let him get his. Bam’s low post game isn’t beating us as long as we don’t let the role players go off

Remember, Celtics have the tendency to do the opposite of what you want.

Dunno if this is sarcasm on your part, Fierce1, but there is actually some truth to what you just said.

Bam’s low post game can beat us if the game is close and we let him be comfortable. Bam’s mid range from inside the free throw line is so good that its almost automatic. Unless our guys plays physical with him early on, and he gets tired in the 4th, then he misses. Guys like Tillman has 6fouls to use just to rough him up.

Bam is shooting .515 from 3-10 this season, .500 in the playoffs so far. If you are missing half your shots you are not automatic. It's a literal coin flip. Miami had 75 FGA in game 2. If all of them were Bam mid range from inside the free throw line and he made them at his 2024 playoff rate, Miami would've scored 25 fewer points.
*addendum* If Miami's entire offense was Bam shooting midrange from free throw in, they would have ORtg of 100 if they never turn the ball over or get o-rebound. You have to go back to the 10 win 76ers to find a team worse than that.
