Last game was a massive win. Smash them here and they will have half their mind on the Cancun cocktails.

Miles Turner was killing us in the first half. Horford couldn't protect the rim AND contest Turner for his three-point shooting. Joe made a change at the half and had Tatum switch to Turner as primary and he only made 2 baskets for a total of 5 points combined in 3rd, 4th quarters and overtime.

My adjustments.

1 - If Tillman is available, try him over Kornet.

2- Tell Al not to shoot quick contested 3s early in the shot clock.

3 - PLAY SMALL BALL with Tatum as a 5.

4 - NO MORE DROP COVERAGE

5 - Give Tatum only short rests. Maybe 2 or 3 minutes tops per half.

6 - Try to get Hauser going early.. We need him to do something.

7 - definitely consider playing Brissett for short stints and tell him NOT to stand out on the 3 point line. Let him attack the offensive glass by standing within 10 ft so teams can not double off his Non 3 point shot.

The bold is my top Priority.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Read on Twitter

We lose G1 without Jrue stepping up in KP's place. I thought we wouldn't need KP in this series but if our D remains so-so/subpar*, we'll need all the firepower we can get to keep up with the Pacers.

Need to figure out a better solution than Kornet. I don’t think you can pay Al this many minutes every other day. ECF schedule is not kind to old legs.

Suggestion doesn't seem sound after he stunk in G1, but I would play Hauser more minutes and just go small. He thrives better on heavier minutes and more touches/actions ran for him. I don't think he's the type that can impact the game playing 6-10 mpg and asked to just stand in the corner.

We should dare the Pacers to play us in 4 on 4 or 3 on 3 games.

need to match their hustle/physicality, we're the experienced / superior group! Time to up our game like the Warriors did to us last year! Ride the starters, they can rest in July.....would also like to see Tillman in their, to help ease the workload for Al. It'sssssssssss Genoooo Time!

Garden was very quiet until the end last night. sounded like the Heat stadium, let the fans scoop up all the tickets! Go C's

Need to stagger the minutes much better. JB and bench lineups have never worked. Jrue and Tatum should lead the bench lineups

Game 1 passing stats

IND : 361 passes made, 38 total assists
BOS: 274 passes made, 30 total assists

Game one was a learning experience, for all our guys, at how fast Indiana plays and how much they zip the ball around relative to the other playoff offenses. Glad we got the W and let’s be ready for the pace in Gm 2.

Maybe the next game Boston can avoid throwing the ball right to the pacers 10 times like they did last night. Not sure what the adjustments will be made because while I love Al but he cannot shoot. On top of that Hauser and Kornet are completely useless and who know what Boston will get from PP.

Pacers shooting was not a fluke either that is what that do and they will keep doing this all series. Hopefully Boston can keep up with them the entire time.

Boston offensive rating = 120.2
Indiana offensive rating = 115.7
I learned that passing the ball a lot doesn't already lead to better offense. Our best offense was exploiting big on small mismatches, while small on big (usually Tatum or Jaylen on Turner) didn't get us much.

JB needs about 2 other Starters with him.

I want all of the Celtics -- but especially the Jays -- to focus on getting to the rim. Turner didn't seem to have a good night as a rim protector last night and their other skinny backup bigs hardly played. A lot of times Toppin and Nesmith are protecting the rim, lol -- take it to them relentlessly and heartlessly. Do NOT dance on the perimeter and jack up bad threes instead.

When you're tired of driving, sub out, so you can rest and then get back in there and do it again.

I'll also accept passing sequences that lead to open 3s. Sam is due a few of those soon.

They'll be able to do that more if they play small. :D Really open up the floor and run Turner off the court.

Just give me five minutes of White-Jrue-Sam-JB-JT and see what we got.

Here's a shocking stat. We are shooting 77.3% at the rim which is second best in the playoffs next to the Heat. The Pacers are 4th and 2nd among surviving teams at 70.6%. 29.3% of our FGA are layups or dunks, which is the worst of the 4 remaining teams.

Yeah, we need Tillman back, as Al wasn't good on either end at the end the game and OT. Limit his minutes.

I've picked it as W/W/L/W/L/W
and in that case, you'd probably feel in control at 2-0 and 3-1
but the neat thing about the playoffs, is that regardless of however many times you've been through it (as a fan), it's a roller coaster each time however it plays out, right?
