It's usually a close game when an opposing player gets 30 points or more against the Cs.

Not happening this season.

Cs are really on another level.

And this is without KP.

To me, KP is such a big deal, not really because of his offense, but because of his rim protection.

Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals really determined the outcome of that finals series.

KP coming off the bench and scoring and blocking shots really shocked the Mavs.

Those layups opposing teams are getting against the Cs now will not be that easy once KP is healthy.

The Stay Ready Group did well too, between Queta and Walsh.

Earlier when you just saying deep bench was trash did you just mean Springer/Baylor and the 2-ways? Joe went 10 deep with 2 starters missing and got the W. Calling out the deep bench for not getting in is pretty harsh, man. :) I do love the perfectionism of it, though.

Voted Jrue and Luke, felt like the former carried the team offensively through what could have been a dicey first 7 minutes or so of the 4th quarter, and of course played good defense. Luke scored and was a factor inside and he HAD to be, starting against a 6’6” guy with limited hops.

PP, Tatum, White all good stretches too, though I don’t love the ball sticking in the hands of the first two, and I specifically chose not to vote for Tatum because of his 1-9 chucking from 3.

Mostly: stay healthy, keep getting Queta and Walsh real reps, and rack up those wins!

If the Hornets finish anywhere close to. 500 Charles Lee deserves coach of the year. That is one dumb ass team.

I watched the Hornets feed where they said that Payton's shot looked "pritchard perfect."

Made me smile.

TBF, it's usually against the dregs of the league. I do like these reps where other guys can show what they got, builds their confidence, will help later on in the season.

Voted Pritchard and Kornet.

Very solid work by the 2 of them! It continues to impress me how we have some of the least athletic players in the league (Pritchard, Kornet, Hauser) but those 3 guys are so damn good in their role.

Solid win, took care of business.

Good thread title, too!
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

He does have a very smooth shooting stroke. Can sometimes be a little bit slow to square himself up, and release it. But the mechanics are sound and he's got good touch.

Safe to say him and Hauser have both put in tons of work practicing their shooting over the years.

How does a team take 60 threes. Wild times we live in. Love the C's but man. Tough to watch NBA today.

I completely disagree.

While the Bucks blowing up is fun, I prefer a slow death. A Giannis trade demand could only be bad for us (since he's no threat to us now). I also want the one seed.

Also I want Doc to stay as Bucks coach as long as possible !

I'm all for making the court wider and making the 3pt distance constant around the full arc, or for increasing the distance, but until that happens this is an optimal way to play for a lot of rosters.

Doesn't really matter.

It's too early to talk about the #1 seed, unless you believe the Cavs will win 70 games this season.

And I think trading Giannis will happen after the season.

Voted for PP and team. I don’t really know what to expect from JT’s shot. Its just as awful as last years playoffs and olympics. 1/9 from 3??! That’s just horrible. Same as last year. He will have a problem cone playoff time again with his shooting. If this continues, he needs to change his form in the off season. Tweaking it won’t cut it seems like. Somebidy needs to tell him that he’s not a great shooter, and just focus mostly on attacking the rim.

If it lessens the chance of an injury then it's best to let Tatum do what he wants.

Look at JB, he's injured again.

It's becoming a pattern that he has these nagging injuries every season.

The constant pounding from attacking the basket will take its toll sooner or later.

What's important is JT is productive and the Cs keep winning.

The last 4 games, JT is averaging 28 ppg even if he's not shooting well.
