Joe Mazzulla Thread, Head Coach – (Contract Extension)

Mazzulla will coach the Celtics to a season with the 2nd highest offensive rating in franchise history (and at worst 6th highest in league history). Joe's teams now own the top 3 seasons in offensive rating in Celtics history.

Unless Joe gets fired before the regular season ends, Taylor Jenkins style, he will move past Bill Russell for 10th most coached games with the Celtics.

He of course will maintain the no.1 spot for highest career win percentage by a coach in NBA history even if the Celtics lose all remaining five games.

All 3 coaches inherited talented veteran teams.

Those 3 also relied heavily on veteran players.

No rookie became a starter in the first 3 seasons under those 3 coaches.
