MVC for Peterson to avoid the double digit loss (just so I could brag that we're the only team who hasn't lost by 10+ lol). CP to Walsh for pushing the ball. Or was it Springer?

Not a hater but I would expect some adjustments from Joe. And not all criticism is hate. some of it is expecting to get better
It is apparent that teams are playing us physical and attacking the paint
A simple P&R results in an open lane to the basket
Or, like today, a switch with a big and ball goes inside
We need some adjustments to our defensive scheme
And we need to play harder and more physical on defense

Whatever. Regular season the goal should be health anyways. Bring some defense and intensity in the playoffs at least.

Injuries aside?Who else besides me thinks this team needs to make some sort of trade to upgrade this roster. I know we have lots of restrictions, but as it stands, I have a hard time thinking we can beat a team like OKC.In the finals.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

It's a nit, but why did Al Horford go 1-10 from 3 when he could take more 2 point shots. He was 1-2 from 2 point range. Wouldn't change outcome, but when he's that off he should be operating closer to the basket, or looking for his shot when he's inside the line.
Refs don't give the Celtics enough foul calls. There is no way that the Lakers should be averaging 6.9 more Free Throws per game than the Celtics. I have watched the Lakers enough times this year to know that the Celtics endure more contact in the act of shooting than the Lakers do, but the refs don't see it that way, likely because the Lakers have the largest local TV contract of any NBA team by a large margin, so it helps the league by supporting the Lakers thru refereeing.

Even though Tatum is putting up great numbers all season I just feel like he’s stopping himself from truly being that mvp player by settling for so many damn threes. It’s nice when he’s making them but sometimes it’s just ugly and that’s all he wants to do. I haven’t seen anything to suggest why he can’t dominate in the paint because he’s looked great when he catches the ball down low and attacks but far too little this season.
But Tatum is the least of my worries regardless with how this team has been lately.
Derrick white needs to get it together on both ends. Joe has gone a little too far with the three point chucking when our guys are very capable of scoring inside the 3 point line.

Walsh has played really hard these last couple games. D White seems just out-of-it the last couple of weeks.

Quick name me another coach in history. That took over for a team that literally was a game or two from a title.
Literally Joe inherented the most talented team in the league and brad actually made it better.
God forbid if joe had a coach a team with equal or less talent.
Pat Riley when he took over the Lakers for Paul Westhead

This team is not as good as last year's team at the moment. We have already lost 2 more home games this season than all of last year. It's only December. That is not a good sign. Last year for most of the regular season, our starting 5 was healthy. That was the key. KP has hardly played this season. Jrue is in and out of the lineup. Hauser has been hurt.
As far as tonight's game, we got out coached in a big way. Plain and simple. Pacers came out of the gate with a full court press. They set the tone and we all know Joe is not very good at in game adjustments.
Our defense was horrible. Al was really bad at both ends of the floor but Joe kept playing him. Hauser couldn't guard anyone but Joe continued to go with him. Kornet look lost on the defensive end, leaving him man open multiple times to go help out a teammate when they didn't need a double team. That left his man open for several easy baskets.
Joe didn't try to insert Tilman or Springer at all, not even for 5 minute spurts to bring some defensive instensity to the game. We fought back to within 2 points, 105-103. But that took a lot of effort. Pacers went on a 11-0 run after that and ended the game. This loss was on Joe. He has been bad over the last month with mainly lack of in game adjustments and refusing to use guys off the bench to spark energy, especially when a few of the starters are struggling.
Like a said the other day, I'm loving this losses. Hopefully did will force Brad to make a move sooner than later. This team desperately needs a good SG/SF coming off the bench that can play both ends of the floor.
I felt Lonnie Walker would have been great for Boston because we needed to give Jrue and White some time off due to the long season they had last year. Jrue has been missing games, but we don't have a guy to take his place.

Tatum deserves blame also. You get a game to 2pts in your home court and you watch the opponent go on a 15-0 run or whatever it was..that’s pathetic. Him and Brown. Awful ****.

There is no reason to take over 50 3s, especially when they aren't falling. Another game, where we shoot below 30% from 3. Another loss.

Yeah don’t know why the very next play Tatum doesn’t demand the ball in the post again. In fact we didn’t see much from Tatum after that and 1 just disappeared. There’s just too much action where Tatum gets the ball at the three point line and he works with a big to make something happen. Just get your ass in the post and make a quick move to the basket.

How about using a few of your defensive players off the bench Joe? Springer and Tillman for example. Even for only 5 minutes in each half. How about stop taking over 50 3s a game and drive to the basket and draw fouls to slow down the game? How about make some simple adjustments during the game and not just throw out your top 5 guys and let them figure it out. How about pulling them when you see they are struggling and giving them a little rest? Horford comes to mind.
It's just lazy coaching and lazy team mindset. Keep coming 3s. Don't force the other team to play any defensive because you want all your guys jacking up 3s, even when they keep missing and missing. Then say we didn't make enough open shots.

Because Joe and Brad are two of the most capable basketball minds out there, I think that our bad play is by design. Play the teams we will play in the playoff this way - first game - punch your best punch; next game, no adjustments to see what they will come up with, exposing our weaknesses; work on the weaknesses, but with ease, we have time
Or I am just hallucinating as it is 4am here and I am pissed because of the defensive effort and the refs

Man, it seems like Derrick last year was a 3 level scorer. And Al over his career was a 3 level scorer.
But now Al is basically 40 years old and he’s pretty much just a spacer. And Derrick has reworked his shot profile that this season 70 PERCENT of all his attempts are 3PTA. Last year 59% of White shots were from 3, his rookie year (17-18) only 39% of his attempts were from 3.
Derrick is in a slump, and I think it’s a limitation from changing his offense approach to attempt 70% of his shots behind the 3PT line and then there seems to be slippage of his defense.
Could be the playoffs+Olympics+high minute load, but White looks lost right now. And Al just looks overworked for his age

.. that is code for no adjustments expected.
