Interesting that Cs started losing more when they eased up on their 3-ball attempt rate.

Hmm wonder what data exists to see if that is something being forced by opposing defenses or no.

Ie, is it offensive execution or are teams defending their preferred shots better in that stretch I wonder.

Turns out, it's not interesting at all lol. We had unusually low 3-pt attempt rate in 4 of the last 7 games. We won 2 of the 4. Losses to ORL (best at limiting threes) and PHI (we lost 'cos we couldn't defend Maxey and purposefully left Caleb Martin alone from 3).

Joe seems to imply that defense isn't much of an issue. He's chalking up the losses to make-or-miss league is what I'm hearing. Shot variance and such. That they just gotta make more shots. Come on now. We're way past that after Cs won a title. Create better shots then? How about attacking opposing team's weaknesses to help our shooting efficiency that's been the worst this month vs. any month since he became coach?

For Toronto Agbaji off to a nice start to his year, he reminds me somewhat of Aaron Nesmith as a physical shooting wing. I thought, before this season, that Ochai Agbagi was heading for Romeo Langfords career path out of the league, but he’s been a nice piece for them…

I tried to tell you, he is not worried about D because they weren’t talking it up like last season, months ago. They don’t care. Maybe he doesn’t remember, that was our downfall the season before the chip. JB does mention it often.
