Tatum just wins.

Absurd to say he does not have killer mentality.

True.

He's a nice guy and that's being interpreted as not having that killer mentality, like some of those more demonstrative star players.

Voted bench mob and Jrue
When Jrue plays like he supposed to we are a very different team. Starting with defense

Walsh and Peterson deserve more playing time (not just garbage time)
Tillman also deserve more run. He plays better the last couple of games. He needs more run with the starters (also, not in garbage time)

Yeah. I think the Kid's good. I see him coming in off the Bench for the Jays, in the future.

Holiday is back and his team immediately plays better. Weird how that keeps happening.

Congrats to Walsh for his career high in points. Really enjoyed seeing him get reps as the ball handler in the pick and roll and he had some impressive flashes (the pull up three, the assist to Peterson off a live dribble).

Had to go White and Walsh. One of my guys gets a career high and points and looks like a breakout stud = VC vote, regardless of context.

Jrue doing Jrue stuff. He also looked super fresh. We all have kinda mentioned it, but that long title run / Olympics summer is bound to take a bit of a toll and lead to this kind of Dec lull. Team down 2 starters and tired and still in all the games they lost. I'm definitely not worried when we're at full strength.

Correction, I am worried about Joe not finding minutes every game for Walsh if we're at full strength. Dude needs to play every game, and for more than 2-3 minute stretches.

I am still a LITTLE worried. Hauser and PP are all we have on the bench, without contributions from even one of them in the playoffs and it could cost us. This isn’t last season. KP needs to be healthy (not on the perimeter on D)!

You think we might be undone by losing Brissy and Svi?

Glad to see Walsh giving some more posters a Vote of confidence. The more he plays extended minutes the more he seems to get comfortable. BUT the real test is when he gets a good opportunity and misses his shot or 2, That Joe does not bury him again.

Real confidence is developed not after doing well, but rather when playing Bad and your coach still plays you.

Yeah, January/February is the dog days. It's time to stretch out the guys behind the core rotation - especially Peterson, Walsh. I'd even be open to some JD minutes if they saved wear and tear on DW and Jrue.

Happy New Year!

Nice win.

VC to White and Pritchard. Tatum a close 3rd for me.

Good to see Jrue back and playing well.

Nice to see Hauser make some 3s.

Queta, Walsh and Peterson all played well.

Al is still struggling. Give him some rest.

You think we might be undone by losing Brissy and Svi?

No. Brissy was important at times, even though people seem to think he wasn’t. I’m still not even saying that is the problem though, I’m saying this isn’t last season!

We could afford to bench Pritchard nearly a whole series, the finals. We have relied on him so much more this season, that means we need him way more than we did last season. Without him, many games we would be getting ZERO POINTS off the bench already this season. The defense isn’t making up for it, they have been horrible with him.

Hauser is worrying because he was THEE points guy last season, got the team going so many times! He was solid on defense, many times shockingly so. He has looked like a shell of last year. Hopefully he is trending upward, but if anything goes wrong, we’ll have NOTHING especially if defense keeps Pritchard off the floor!

To say we’re struggling defensively with them might be understated and this is just the regular season! Imagine the level of the playoffs!

It doesn’t mean I don’t think we’ll win, I’m just worried that the bench is far too thin and I haven’t even went into the absence of KP. Al is having to do more this season from game 1 when last season he had a buffer of KP most of the first half. Joe only but barely trusts Korny in the regular season and didn’t in the playoffs.

Add in the mental and physical toll on our best players, we have relied on the others more and it’s not coming through like last season. Playing the Jays like it’s the playoffs lately. Already exhausted and they already have to try and do it again! If Pritchard isn’t on Joe rarely plays anyone else. Push the players and push them when we were supposed to rely on the others a lot more early. Even JB said that during media day. PP has stepped up on offense, he’s doing all he can. I just hope it’s enough for when the real games start. The best in the east are coming together and the west is still slugging it out.

There are reasons teams rarely repeat, I don’t want to get into the playoffs and realize we are stuck with no bench relief. I know stars win championships but I’ll wait for one chip since I have been alive where timely bench contributions weren’t the difference between winning and losing. We NEED both Pritchard and Hauser!! Right now we have Pritchard and a possible, without defense. (Spades reference)

I didn’t forget Horford, I mentioned KP, without him Al is the starter. We didn’t play Korny nor Queta many times in the playoffs. We put so much on Al. We can only hope he’ll hold up after being the starter most of the season because no KP from the start. Al is so underrated, without him… I don’t even want to think it!
