Last year
Lose the first game against the Warriors by 6
Win the second game by 52

This year
Lose the first game by 6
Win the second game by 40

I guess you guys are right this isn't last year's team :(

Drives me mad how the “Warriors were missing guys” in this game but when the Warriors won the first game without JB and KP they were the best?

Since GS basically only played their bench, I’ll only talk about ours. Walsh and Baylor looked good. Springer and X not helping their trade values. Not that X is on the market.

Actually it was refreshing to see the starters take care of business. The other team’s guys were scrappy and try hardy at the beginning like so often happens.but we played thru it. Still some super lazy/ugly passes, but you can get away with it if the other team never hits a shot to make you pay.

If the Cs repeat, that underlined phrase will be part of the reason why.

Mad scientist Joe!

Springer/Walsh/Tillman/Queta/Kornet was awesome
Way to let it rip, Joe!

Then Baylor subbed in for Luke, right? That was an even better idea:)
I'm a Joe believer but he has some room to grow in terms of putting different guys out there in different positions, so I'm always glad to see him experimenting or maybe putting aside his sub chart a bit.

The look that JB gave Kerr should put to bed any talk that there's ever been an issue between the Jay's. Those two are friends who have each other's backs. IMO, Kerr is waaaaayyyyy more interested in what his own player is saying to JT.

JT's a nice guy.
He's willing to share the spotlight with JB.

The Jays never had a feud like what Shaq and Kobe had.

That's why the Cs should never breakup the Jays.

As long as the Jays remain with the Cs, they will be in the hunt until 2032.

Starting to play a lot better when the full core is healthy and it’s super encouraging to see KP look great on offense.

Let’s get a winning streak going and get that positive energy back before the all star break.

Proving once again that Constable doesn’t know ball. The starters are fine.

I was 20 when the C's drafted Pierce and there were no internet forums like they have now. Everything is under the microscope now. I was always a Pierce fan and if he had the luxury of playing with a top 3 pick within the first 5 years of his career in Boston who knows what could have been if they drafted right.

I said it before, NO team hit home runs when they had 2 top 3 picks like the C's had with JB and JT.

I'm enjoying every bit of this back to back run.

True.

Celtics so lucky to go 2 for 2 with two #3 picks.

Pierce would have had a great #3 pick as a teammate, but Rick Pitino traded Billups even before Billups played one full season in the NBA.

Joe Johnson is another example of a lottery pick that the Cs prematurely gave up on.

Pierce, Billups, and Joe Johnson should've been the top 3 best players for the Cs in the early 2000s.

Always good to stick it to Steve Kerr.
