Development of Walsh, Springer and Queta please.
Get White and Holiday some rest here and there.
I’d like to see the team finish strong before the All Star break, but **** it. I’d be thrilled with 7-3 at this point.
Be healthy and ready to play come April
Agreed. Springer sure is a late bloomer, huh? Queta is a bit, as well.
I'd also like to see more of Scheierman and Peterson.
I think part of the reason why we're not seeing more of Scheierman and Peterson is it affects the individual stats of the star players.
Letting Rico and Peterson play means Joe would have to lessen the minutes of some of the starters.
For comparison, when Pierce, KG, and Ray were together from 2007 to 2013, there was only 1 season where the Celtics had a 20 points per game player.
That was in 2009 when Pierce averaged 20.5 ppg.
This current Celtics team have 2 players averaging more than 20 points per game.
So why would a team that has 5 All-Star caliber players still has 2 players getting more than 20 points per game?
A team this talented should have a lower scoring average from their star players and the star players should not be getting a lot of minutes.
I find it hard to believe that becoming an All-Star or being selected to an All-NBA team has nothing to do with what the Celtic star players are doing.
Let's face it, the ultimate goal, winning a championship, has been achieved.
Guess it's time for individual awards or recognition.
