You keep saying Joe should not use double big.

Now that Joe didn't play double big, that's your response?

No double bigs = easy win
Even if JT struggles on offense

JB can work the paint at ease
White can get his floater
etc

32 assists is great
KP, JB and White with good games
JT opening the game with passing from the double team

White with 39+ minutes - not that good. Play Springer some more (5 rebounds, 2 steals and a block - not bad)

But Jrue with 23.

Springer's minutes came from Jrue and Sam, basically.

Defense also. He hasn't been good for a while. He got outplayed by a 40 year old Lebron a week ago. Tatum can use a game off or two. Get his legs fresh. We have had a lot of games lately.

Tatum's minutes were lighter than they might have been, albeit not by much.

Right. I just suggested Springer should have taken some of DWhite's minutes also
39+ minutes is too much, especially when we have PP and Springer on the bench

Jrue was favoring his shoulder. He should get an extended rest to completely heal

Playing a starters way too much imo. White had a day off last game I guess, but I’d really like to see a rotation where these guys are closer to 30 minutes…at least under 35.

So no one should be surprised that Boston did this last night. What reminds to be seen is if they can have the same type of performance Friday, or are we in for a slog where Boston is in a rock fight was an awful Pelicans team.

Pels are not awful now.

So yeah, it will be tough to get a win in Orleans.

KP for starting the fire from deep, and JB for scoring what -- a dozen? -- in the paint in the 2nd quarter to get separation from this crappy Bulls team. No TOs from his as well. Keep doing that, Jaylen! Use your amazing physique!

As for JT there is a non-zero chance he becomes more of a 6'9" Rondo than the 6'9" Paul Pierce we were all expecting. And I'd be cool with that as long as he actually plays defense and we keep KP and JB around as premier scoring options.
Paul Pierce appreciation society.

KP was on fire from 25+ feet last night for sure. But may not be a good omen. Can't expect that kind of production regularly from deep. I hope KP doesn't get the Klay Thompson syndrome and just bomb away. Still weird that 7'3 KP stays outside often while PP and Jrue stay in the "dunkers spot" while our Bigs KP and Al launch so many 3s.

Brad did that, so it's not surprising Joe is doing the same considering Joe comes from the Brad Stevens coaching tree.

Jared Sullinger, playing Center, was also shooting 3s when he was under Brad.

KP is now the best 3pt shooter on the team, if based on 3pt FG%.

One benefit to not playing double bigs is it gets JB in the paint more where he's just too strong for guys. When we play double big, he's on the perimeter shooting 32%.

I blame Joe Mazzulla for this result.

I thought I saw they had a win streak so I looked it up - went 1-20 (!), then went 4-4, then won 4 straight, then subsequently lost the last four.

I could not tell you who was in or out due to injuries or whatever during that time.
