Trade Hauser to the Nets for 27th pick.

Yes I am going crazy but there are trades that can happen. Sue me! or come up with better ideas.. Shouldn't be too hard.

If JT got what we think he got then this summer will be brutal.
Jrue and KP are gone 100%.
Al might not come back because there isnt really reason.Only if he just wanna play ball.

The new CBA will force the Celtics to trade JB.

Having 2 supermax players in this current version of the CBA is just not sustainable.

Young teams that are close to being a playoff team will want Jrue for obvious reasons.

KP is an expiring next season, so the Cs can hold on to him for a while then move him at the deadline.

JB must go because if JT is out for a year, it's best if Cs maximize JB's trade value right now.

The Jays have reached their limit and continuing with the duo will put the Cs in a bad spot with the salary cap.

It's time to start preparing for the 2nd championship window.

I agree but they should probably move White (their best healthy trade asset) too who would be 32 when a healthy Tatum returns. He's in his prime, peak value, good contract. Contenders would get into a bidding war for him who feel they are one role player away. He fits on almost any contender but you have to get picks and a young player(s) that have a lot of upside.

I think it's worth it to hold on to White until he's 33 or 34.

We can't totally gut the team because JT will need a quality supporting cast for the championship run in 2027 or 2028.

Unless we sign a 1A superstar, there will be no “championship run” in 2027, 2028 or 2029 or 2030. JT will not be leading this team to any future titles as the guy coming back from an Achilles and I don’t see how we acquire a legit superstar talent unless we luck into one in the draft through tanking next year.

I sadly think both Jrue and KP need to go. KP's always hurt and you can't pay Jrue 30 mils to score 10 pts a game.
Good assessment:

Honestly, the only trade that would make sense for us but would be controversial is us trading JB to his hometown ATL for Trae Young(or Bane + something) and something else. We get a playmaker(the best in the game) and a scorer, JB goes home.

Brown is not going anywhere because nobody wants that contract on their payroll.

Trade brown and trade KP get some youth for next season.

Just to a quick retool/rebuild and possibly add back tatum to a solid core.

Joe will have no choice if White is the only starter left from this season.

I'm fine replacing JB with Dylan Harper.

Get assets to get the #1 or #2 pick.

JB is the biggest trade chip.

The future course of the franchise is dependent on one MRI scan and the tax bill
Who to trade, what to get in return, where to pick in the draft (if at all), who to pick in the draft etc

We all pray for JT health and quick recovery

Brown to the pelicans for murphy 3, olynyk, hawkins and pick #7.

Follow up with KP amd Jrue to Jazz for Kessler, Collins and sexton.

Assuming no tatum in 2025-26 and horford retires.

Pritchard/sexton/???
White/baylor/hawkins
Murphy3/hauser/walsh
Collins/olynyk/???
Kessler/kornet/queta

Free about 20 million in capspace. Sexton and collins are expiring.

Have pick number 7
